Abstract
Information systems are the sets of multiple components integrated with one another. These
integrated components are developed to collect, store and operates the data from the market and
environment. The data processed by the Information Systems are used to provide knowledge,
information and products which help organizations in managing their operations, understand
their suppliers, interact with the customers and to compete in the business market.
Information systems focus on the exchange of various ideas between organizations which
provides an analytic view of the development process, technology to be used, implementations,
design a strategy, and handling issues. Large-scale investigations of biodiversity, market
dynamics, civilizations, and environment, and government policies can be exercised. Such
investigations help in combining information and data for knowledge and idea generation. The
management and mining of the data gathered help in the execution of economic and stable digital
projects.

Research Approach and Methodology
In order to identify and study the trends in Business and Information Systems, a detailed
understanding of the information systems and data management is important. The main obstacle
in the data collection and information gathering is to propose an efficient way to manage the data
collected. There is a continuous need for the evolution of Data Management techniques because
of ever-growing data from the market, environment, businesses, and users. The data management
process is a combination of various methods of storing, retrieval, conversion, and maintenance of
data. Today, managing the data is mostly based on the database management systems which
require continuous improvement in the software and hardware technologies.
Business Systems are developing at a fast pace and thus, the information sources for these
businesses are also expanding. DBMS plays a major role in processing and managing this huge
amount of data gathered. Massive growth in the amount of data has given birth to many
technologies and exercises like Bigdata, Apache Hadoop, master data management, service-
oriented architecture, and other procedures. Some of these techniques will be used to identify the
trends in the Business and Information systems and understand them.
