INTRODUCTION
Academic research can be explained as an activity of conducting a systematic
investigation of a situation or a problem with the intention of identifying facts or opinions which
enables assessment of such problems. Academic research refers to a research which is computed
by students of school, colleges or universities (Al Wazni, 2017). This report is based on
examination of current issues that are faced by business. Chosen business issue for this report is
adaption of new technology in an organization. Further, reflection is conducted for stating my
learning experience and its utilisation in future development plans. Lastly, personal development
plan is computed which focuses on areas that are to be further developed or improved.

Part 1
Current business issue:
Business issues or problems refers to challenges that are faced by an entity which pertains
negative implications on its operations or profitability. Such issues can be prevented with
application and execution of effective strategies that leads to achievement of long term goals. In
some cases business issues also serves as a threat for long term sustainability or survival of an
enterprise (Blakeslee and Fleischer, 2019). Adaption of new technology is a current issue which
is faced by business. Continuous emergent of new development or innovation brings requirement
for adoption of new technologies. Implementation of new technology requires various activities
testing, introducing, adapting as well as monitoring. Implementation or adoption of new
technology requires changes in business process of a company. Technological adoptions while
on the one hand increases efficiency of an enterprise but on the other hand implementation of
new technologies brings sense of job insecurity among employees. Reason for emerging job
insecurity is that it reduces requirement of man force as most of the labour work is conducted
through machines. Apart from it, expenditures of an organization is increased, as employees are
required to be trained for effective utilisation of technological equipments. Interpersonal
relationships among workforce of an enterprise is hindered due to high involvement of
technology which may lead to reduction in efficiency of employees (Dirgeyasa, 2017). Further,
technology serves as an expensive obsolescence as continuous technological advancements are
required in this constantly evolving technological era which is a costly affair for an organization.

Positive reaction of an organization in context to new technological adoption states that

company communicates and explains requirement of technology and its positive implications on
productivity or efficiency of an organization to its employees (Goodwin, 2016). It enables
efficient understanding of working staff towards strategies and objectives of company which
motivates them to corporate in an adequate manner with organizational requirements. In addition
to it, effective training programs are organised by management team of business for training
employees regarding utilisation and application of technology which is implemented in business.
This leads to enhancement of efficiency level of employees. Incorporation of sense of job
security in working staff boots their level of motivation which ultimately results in enhancement
of their productivity level in business. Further, company reacts positively by effectively manage
the changes that are implemented in company due to technology adoption. Strategy of design
thinking is adopted which states that daily task of monitoring is performed by managing team
and its observation is utilised for building solutions for future problems in technological
implementation. New technological implementations requires adoption of new policies and
formulation of new strategies. For success such strategical implementation it is necessary for
company to communicate is required and guidelines effectively to a working staff because
activities of business are ultimately performed by its employees hence, their level of
understanding pertains huge impact on success or failure of any new change or adoption.

allowed for understanding of process and activities of business and educated me regarding
importance of effective planning for collaborative as well as individual work. While
investigating about such phenomenons of business enhanced my level of knowledge and
educated me about rational that are underlined with research. It improvised my skills related to
time management as my motive was on time completion of task. This learnings enabled me for
achieving new knowledge which are going to be extremely helpful for enhancing my
employability in a upcoming period. It provides competitive advantage to me. Apart from it,
academic research on business issues fostered my expertise on critical thinking as well as
analytical skills as identification of problem is required along with its interpretation for finding
