hospitality industry and also suggests some solutions for it.

the services in an effective and efficient manner for the customers. In order to success and
growth ion the hospitality industry there are several challenges which is faced by the companies.
it is very important for the business organisation to focus on the various external factors which
can have a great influence over the decision making and the operational activities for the
hospitality industry at a global level. This is the matter of concern for every business
organisation which need to be considered in order to have a growth within the company by the
global expansion. The tourism sector has the several responsibilities towards the customers and
society which need to be taken into account in order to be effective and efficient within its

There are various global issues which are been faced by the tourism sector in which the
hospitality industry has to face the issues. The issues are related to the external factors it is very
important for the hotels and the various resort which are located in several location need to take
care of the external factors. The issues are discussed below:
changing labour condition is the biggest issues which is faced by the hospitality
industry where there is lack of the human resource management within the business
organisational is identified that there is always shrinking over the labour force within the global
aspect. It is the challenging for the hospitality industry to manage the workforce at the different
countries where the organisation is not able to identify the workforce because of the different
cost and the training which need to be given to the employees. (Chen, H., Huang, X. and Li, Z.,
2022). This is challenging in the case of the requirement of the adequate staff members within
the hotels. As there is the shortage of the human resource and the people have different fields. As
there is the increase in the healthcare benefit cost which is making more expensive for the
employers in order to hire and retain the employees. As this make the hospitality industry to be
more selective while hiring for the talented workforce for their business organisation. This is
challenging for the hospitality industry where they need to focus on the various aspect for hiring
the people from the different countries and the different cultures and languages can also be
challenging for the company to maintain every aspect of the business organisation. (Bodkhe, and
et.al., 2019)
The technology is the another challenging issues for the hospitality industry which need
to be considered by the business organisation. As increase in the safety measures due to the
covid-19 the technology plays a major role for the hospitality industry which need to be focused
by the business organisation by including the self check- in and out system. As in the global
expansion of the hotels and resorts it is very important or the companies to focus on the
technology aspect. As adopting to the various technologies ;lead to increase in the initial cost
which is challenging for the business organisation related to the hospitality industry. This is
developing day by day and this can impact the several hotels and resorts which might affected
because of the various digital platforms which need to be adopted by the organisation. It is
observed that the companies need to be more focused on investing over the online platforms for
the pre booking of the hotels and the places so that the customer have a flexibility. (Mehraliyev,

fixed and variable expenses which is keep fluctuating. As it is observed that because of the
pandemic the hospitality industry is the most affected and have faced various challenges in up
coming trend which is observed within the society. It is analysed that the companies are facing
huge losses due to the government policies and the fluctuations which is been there because of
keeping the safety measures by the hospitality industry. (Farmaki, A., 2018). It is observed that
the government has made mandatory to adopt to such measures which help in keeping the safety
for the public. As it is also identified that there are rule and regulation which is changing after
pandemic and which is varied from country to country. So in case of the global business issue
this is the matter of concern for the international hospitality industry. Fro example , there are
different rule sand regulation for the companies in United Kingdom which will be different from
the government regulation in India. The intercontinental hotel and resort need to abide to the rule
where ever it is located which becomes challenging for the company to change the makes within
the business organisation/. It is identified that there are huge expenses which need to be
maintained by the industry in order to conduct their business at the international or global level.
This impacts in the profitability of the business because it is significant for the company to focus
on the staffing and payroll of the employees in order to conduct business in an effective and
efficient manner. (Magno, F. and Cassia, F., 2018)
The issues which is identified and is challenging for the international hospitality industry
is that the rise in the customer demand and expectations within the industry. It is identified
that the business organisation are trying hard to involve themself in the various aspect which can
lead to meet the customer expectations with every possible aspect. It is also identified that in
order to meet customer expectations whether it is related to the digital technologies or renovating
with the new business ideas within the tourism sector. It is same time challenging for the
business organisation in order to bring every new idea and which can make its customer happy.
As it is observed that locking in the changing trend of the safety measures which need to be
followed by the companies in order to bring attention of customers. As every brand need to
develop its image in front of customers in order to be attractive in order to increase sales sand
profits. This is challenging for the hospitality industry to bring the change as it cost higher for

need to focus on the various marketing approaches in order to attract customers.
There are various solutions which are provided in order to make the best possible actions
so that the hospitality industry can focus on the attractions of the customers within the services
which is provided by the hospitality industry. It is very important for the business organisation to
focus on the emerging trends and look what is the issue the company is facing in order to identify
the solutions to it. Some of the solutions are discussed below;
It is suggested that if the hospitality industry concentrate on achieving the best after the
pandemic then the first and the most important is to keep the safety measures by the hotels and
resorts. In the tourism sector it is essential that the company need to include the proper
sanitisation by this the customer will be willing to visits over the services of the business
organisation. It is very important for the company to include the self check-in and check-out at
the door step which will enhance is the self ability and this will be more comfortable for the
customers is not coming to the direct contact with staff members of the business organisation.

It is also suggested that it is very important for the hospitality industry to bring the new
ideas for the customers in order to bring the change within the environment and also provide
with the digital platforms for the ease of the customers. The use of the various platforms such as

packages which will enhance in more customer engagement. This is most important for the
hospitality industry to provide with the exclusive packages and services which will satisfy their
