performs certain activities in order to deliver its products and services
to target customers within define market.
• The functions are carried out by business in order to meet its desired
goals and objectives.

Private enterprise
• Virgin Group LTD:- It is a private business firm which was incorporated
in the year 1970 in United Kingdom.
• The main objective of this firm is to earn huge amount of revenues form
products and services offered. This organisation is funded by its
members.

Public enterprise
• Tesco PLC is a public organisation which is being incorporated within the
economy of United Kingdom.
• It was initially incorporated as a sole trading concern and in the current
scenario, it is functioning as a public enterprise.

Non-Profit Organization
• National Health Service is a not for profit organisation that
functions with the main objective of providing effective services to
people at free of cost with in the economy of United Kingdom.
• It is significantly funded by the government for its operations.

Size and Scope of Private company
• This is quite small as compare to public company.
• The size and scope of such enterprise also quite
large.
• They operate their business in a wider geographical
area.

Objectives:- To provide services without charging any amount.
