required in the term of working culture to make the determination and understanding of different
aspects. To attain the appropriate perspective of different people a survey also held in which the

questions about the determination of the appropriate type of communication which needs to be
implemented in the organizations to achieve a balanced workplace.
There are so many different definitions of communication are available but all the different
definitions indicate the same message. The communication refers to the social and interactive
actions and it also refers to make the interaction between two or more parties discussing some
conclusive perspective (Brink, et. al., 2015). The major element which needs to be determined
while communication at workplace is that the message or interaction needs to be formal and also
want to provide some specific and relevant information. The communication can be divided into
different parts that are oral and written. Both of the parts have their own advantages but to make
the communication structure balanced this is most necessary to make the determination about the
appropriate type to be used.
In the context of organizations, oral communication can be taken as a more important and
significant type. The major reason to choose oral communication over written communication is
that written communication can be little time-consuming. If there is a talk about organization
then this is preferably necessary to use some type of communication which can timely help to
make the interaction. Oral communication includes different methods to make the interaction

The oral communication majorly includes three different types which can define as the
components of the communication. These three types are presenting, listening, conversing. These
types interrelate to each other. The brief information about these three types:
Listening: This is the most vital and essential communication technique. Listening not only
refers to listen to the things which have been spoken or are being spoken. Active listening refers
to pay attention to the appropriate communication (Harris, et. al., 2018). The active listening
includes proper determination about the context which has been spoken. It also includes the
actions t pay the attention towards the gesture and body language of the speaker. These
interaction gives a positive impact on the mindset of the speaker and also makes the
communication more effective.
Presenting: oral communication includes the vocal strength to make the appropriate message
indicated towards the people. So this is most necessary to make an appropriate presentation over
the communication. The presentation here does not refer to make visible presentation apart from
what it means to make the idea about the way to communicate in a significant manner. In the
context of formal communication, this is most necessary to have concise and descriptive
communication. The further presentation or determination helps to make the communication
more vital and formal in the context of organizational structure.
Conversing: This is also a very important way of communication. The conversation needs to be
balanced as it most necessary to have a perfect balance of conversation (Applebee, et. al., 2018).
The conversation includes balanced and effective communication. The conversation can be
determined as the effective communication.

more impactful in the context of the organization. The implementation of oral communication
can give some concise benefits to the organizational structure (Meseguer-Duenas, et. al., 2018).
The survey also concluded that oral communication preferred by the companies to make
effective and advance working culture.
The major benefit which can be attained by using the way of oral communication is that it is time
effective. As oral communication does not require to consume time to write the message and
then pass it to someone else. It helps to directly convey the information. This is a very common
thing that there are some certain scenarios in which convey of the message is most necessary
then the written formalities. It helps to make the instructions in a reliable manner.
Oral communication is cost saving also as the written communication needs to have a particulate
platform to convey the message. The selection of the platform makes the cost-effectiveness. The
written communication cannot be conveyed to each other without any selected platform. The
formal emails are the most important and essential platform to convey the written message. But
at the same time, this particular approach requires time and money to be invested to make the
determination about interconnection (Villa, et. al., 2017). On the other hand, oral communication
only requires speaking to make the delivery of messages and the process does bot requires a cost
to be implemented.
Oral communication can be stated as the most impactful and effective way of communication. In
the context of organizations sometimes it may happen that this becomes necessary to make a
powerful voice to attain the changes. In this particular context, oral communication plays a vital
role as it provides the advantages to make a powerful voice to make the determination of
communication.
The other advantage of oral communication is that it helps to attain the feedbacks and opinion at
the same time. As oral communication includes the opportunities to make the viewpoints at the
same time. In the context of written communication, the process of two-way communication is
not possible. As in oral communication, the message can be conveyed via the two way
communication. Thus, the benefit of two way communication can be attained by only
implementing oral communication. In the context of an organization, the companies get most of
the responses from the meetings. Those meetings attain the procedure of group communication.

Which gives the opportunity to make the communication and also makes a balance between
opinions and feedback.
The oral communication helps to make a perfect balance between the employee and employer.
Oral communication helps to make the effective communication. This approach provides
opportunities for employees to speak fluently. This fluency helps to reduce the hesitation of
employees (Rajhans, 2018). The employees feel more engaged with the organization and this
engagement helps them to give their feedback. It can be determined that if the ideas and
approaches of themselves will be identified and respected then it will help the employees to be
more involved with the organization. This involvement provides the appropriate and balanced
workplace and helps the organization to grow in a significant manner.
Another advantage of oral communication is that it makes the environment flexible as this is
already discussed that this way helps to make a balance between employee and employer. This
balanced scenario helps to make flexibility in working culture. The flexibility does not refer to
making the restriction of rules and regulation apart from that it helps to make some flexible
approaches which easily makes the things happened in a normal manner.
Oral communication gives opportunities to make some informal communication as well. This
can be understood that formal communication is most necessary for the organization. But if the
organization will only use the method of formal communication then it will affect the working
culture in a negative manner (Peeran, 2017). In the context of an organization, the perfect
balance of formal and informal communication is most necessary. The formal communication
helps to make the organization structure strong but at the same time, informal communication
also helps to make some approaches which help to make the work environment stronger. The
written communication provides evidence about every single communication so to make
informal communication on a written basis is not possible in organizations. Thus, it can be stated
that oral communication helps to make more effective formal and informal communication.
Effective informal oral communication

organization. The thing which needs to be determined is about the effective and significant
manner to use communication. As the message can only be conveyed if there is the

determination about the appropriate way to use the approaches (Dikarev, et. al., 2015). In very
simple words it can be stared that this is not only necessary to determine what to speak but it also
needs to determine how to speak. To make the determination this is most necessary to understand
the appropriate requirements and needs of the scenario. As the determination helps to define the
concept in a significant manner. Another thing which needs to be determined while speaking is
about the main motive of the conversation so that the communication can become more
impactful.
The formal communication does not contain any of the random information it needs to be proper
and determined about the appropriate topic. As formal communication not only contains the data
apart from that it also includes some responsibilities and professionalism in the communication.
To make the communication relevant and professional the determination of the right content is
most necessary. The determination of the right content helps to make communication impactful
and formal (Gupta & Saxena, 2016). The other thing which needs to be determined is about to
make the appropriate presentation about the communication. The presentation can be taken as the
most relevant element to be discussed. Thus, it can be stated that oral communication is the most
necessary and vital concept but to achieve the advantages there are some components which
needs to be determined accordingly.
