Field of research
The financial and economic performance of public and private sectors that take part in the
construction industry have been varying for a number of years now. However, it is important to
account for the millions of money that are pumped to these particular economic sectors.
Research on the financial performance of both public and private sector provide accountability
point for all the cash spent in each and every financial year.
Secondary data.
The information concerning the economic and financial performance of the construction
industry for the period of 2011 to 2012 is freely available on

Opendocument . The are several pdf downloads available in the site that have analyzed the
performance, however, the figures are estimates and may change from time to time. All the data
is provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics and it shows all the expenses incurred during
the construction.
Research question.
The objective of this survey makes use of the figures on the site in order to elaborate
efficiently on matters concerning with the financial performance and all the engagement the
companies committed during the act of construction.

the misuse of all the funds, hence financial survey is an important factor in the economy in
