Introduction
Entrepreneurship and concerned business management are one of the most relevant and
advanced skillful specialized domains of human affairs. Devising proper project management
plan is essential for smooth commercial activities and it can be guaranteed by thorough and well
directed research. The following report will be a critical analysis regarding a Bustech Pty Ltd of
Australia entering the new market of Japan, assessing its present to anticipate futuristic
propositions. It will clarify the aims and objectives of the research, work out an authentic project
management plan and incorporate a proper work breakdown structure. Additionally, it will cater
to different types of research methodologies, including a critical evaluation of the same. It will
also analyze data judiciously, to make sufficient recommendations, realizing the value and
contribution of the research.
Background of the company
Bustech Pty Ltd. is a premiere Australian award winning bus manufacturing company,
addressing numerous govt. And private sector clients, established in 1995, the firm has displayed
rapid development, adopting innovative approaches in bus manufacturing. Its parent organization
is Transit Australia Group, headquartered in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. It is the only
developed original equipment manufacturer in Australia. It is the largest private bus company in
Australia, running over 650 buses and engaging more than 1300 staff (Bustech.net.au, 2018).
The company has been a pioneer in exploring new horizons in bus manufacturing, producing
double decker bus models and electric buses. In 2015, the company struck an alliance with
Swinburne University of Technology for ensuring further technical accomplishments. One of the
significant steps has been its adoption of Cummins ISL Engine monitored by Hillsbus. However,
the company was not included in 2019 (April) purchase of Transit Australia Group.
Background of Host Country
In the given project, it is considered that Bustech supposed to enter and invest in Japan. This
proposition requires proper research on the part of the company. Despite two disastrous atomic
explosions, the country has made immense technological and economic progress in the last 60
years. The GDP of Japan is 4.87 Lakh Cores (2017). The unemployment rate in Japan is just
2.5% in January 2019. Additionally, there is a high internet usage rate in Japan (85.2 %). Also,
there are efficient consumer laws, research and development activities that create sufficient

scope for business expansion (Bustech.net.au, 2015). Ethnic tolerance is too particularly
discernible in this part of the globe along with struct environmental protection guidelines. Media
development is one of the significant aspects of Japan. Thus entering and investing in Japan
could turn out to be a healthy prospect for Bustech.

Project Aim:
The aim of this project is to stress on the evaluation of the impact that Bustech have on the
economy of Australia.
The objectives of the project are:

Looking at the structure of the organisation for a project it has been found that the project of an
organisation operates within the people, technology and the process of the organisation. Projects
that have been taken in an organisation has an impact on the policies of the organisation along
with the culture and the procedures that are followed. Among the different types of
organisational structure, it has been found that Functional structure suits the most for the
project than other types of organisational structure. As stated by Gupta et al. (2019), functional
structure helps in the arrangement of the workers as these workers are based on group according
to the skills and knowledge they have. Vertical structure of the different departments and their
roles and responsibilities is defined in this structure. The organisation is divided into different
small groups according to the specific roles of the department.

Among the different techniques that have been taken for developing a project, three main things
are the budgeting, cash flow statement and cost breakdown structure. Techniques that need to be

Among the different types of control techniques that have been required for managing a project,
it has been found that the control chart and flow chart is required for the development of the
project. A control chart is a tool that is used in the determination of behaviour prediction along
with stability prediction of the project by measuring the time. As opined by Farashah et al.
(2019), the control chart has been used in managing a project as it controls the quality of the
project and reflects both on the values both minimum and maximum.
Flow chart, on the other hand, displays in a graphical way the objective of the project. According
to Gemünden et al. (2018), in a logical manner, it seeks the activities of the project than it has in
the past. Main aim of using the flow chart in the project is that it helps in monitoring the progress
