Introduction
In the last year, Byron Resources has faced some serious losses. As per the annual report,
it has observed that company runs through a loss of more than 29% of their annual expectation.
After conducting a thorough research and different survey, we noticed that the main reasons of
this downfall are the lack of efficiency in the leadership in managing employee performance,
inappropriate understanding of the job role, and inefficiency of the leaders in managing
employee management. To solve these issues the CEO and different boards of directors of Byron
Resources have developed different strategies based on the famous book “The 7 Habits of Highly
Effective People” by Stephen Covey.
Announcement
On behalf of the entire company, the International Communication Manager has
arranged a retreat program on leadership at upcoming Sunday, 2019 and invites all staffs
associated with the organization to attend the session.
This session will going to be extremely interesting, as this session will discuss some
exiting facts about the book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey and
provide different leadership strategies that may help us to overcome different barriers related to
the leadership and employee management.
This session will emphasize on the key measures to improve the leadership skills and
help us to overcome employee management problems. Thus, there is a humble request to every
individual to attend the meeting and contribute for the welfare of the organization.

Discussion
The main motto of this program is to promote the view “Do not go where the path may
lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The meaning
of the above- mentioned phrase is leaders should innovate new and interesting strategies to
attract their employees and encourage them to perform well that would help the organization to
attain great position in the market.
The primary responsibility of a leader is to guide his/her employees, juniors or
subordinates to achieve their desired success. Leaders needs to be enthusiastic, charming and he
should able to motivate his employees to improve their performance for attaining the purpose of
organizational profit. Byron Resources is well- known recruiting consultancy, specialized for
their sourcing and securing higher caliber talents of different clients.
With the purpose of generating employee motivation and providing inspiration to
different employees, this program will examine various management issues given below:
This meeting will discuss about the employee retention problems.
It will focus on the improving the training and development events for enhancing
the quality of the production of new employees.
It will provide key strategies for improving the leadership and management skills
of different leaders of different departments of the firm. This will help leaders to
generate healthy work environment in the organization.
It will focus on improving different facilities for employees. This session
emphasizes on the improving leaders attitude in developing proactive attitude
based on the principles of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen
Covey.

There are different objectives for organizing this session:
The main objective of this session is to encourage and motivate different
employees to provide their best performance for achieving organizational target.

supervisors.
This session aims to recognize the performance quality of different employees
and to identify the actual reasons that restricts them to perform better to attain
organization’s target in a time consuming manner.
It will aims to develop the new techniques for the organizational leaders for
establishing a good image of the firm among all competitors present in the
market.
This session will help the firm to recognize its best employee and helps to provide
rewards to encourage his/her performance.

In order to be the part of this session staffs should develop knowledge or read the book

employees to understand different strategies and themes that will discuss in the session.
