Project Management of an Old Cabin Renovation Project

Introduction
In this, we have to fix the old cabin so for that there are significances and the examined
objective was taken. There were communication plans in which there was stakeholder
included and we have prepared the Gantt chart, wbs for the project So that there is proper
scheduling done so that the project can be achieved. There were defined stakeholders who are
influenced by the project. There is detailed discussion for wbs which is to deal with the
project which are minutely, there is RACI chart which have the project analysis
documentation etc. There is use of critical path which demonstrate the shortest path for the
project. There is detailed discussion for the budget of the project; this will help the developer
and project manager to deal with limited resources..

Body of the project
In every project, there is proper planning done which will help the project manager to see the
project. In this, the project was to fix the old cabin and the before the project there were many
things examined. The project is planned with the basses of a few points that are estimation
cost, hypotheses, and perceptions. There was the use of the quality tool in the project to make
the smooth. There is project build with the proper scheduling so here we have also secluded
the project by using the help of Gantt chart. There were teams allotted with the various
manager of the team and this was done by the project manager. There was the presence of the
stakeholders in the project and without the stakeholder, the project cannot be built. The
project helps to have 5 stages of work that are:
1. Initiation of the project: The project was initiated this means the project will be initiated
that there was discussion done by the investor and the here the stakeholders are the investor.
2. Planning of project: The project was planned by the project manager here all the resources
were allocated and the project gives the entire estimated price here.
3. Arranging the assignment: The assignment is arranged with the help of project manager
and then distributed among the respective teams.
4. Execution of the project: The project is executed by the help of the developer or the one
who is the executor. This helps the person to execute the project which is planned.
5. Observing: The project is in the observation of the project manager or the project is
undertaking with the project manager and then the project is launched in the market.
I have learned from the project management system that there should be proper planning
done before had and the project will be good when the project goes with the plans. The
project has developed the skills as the work should be done properly, there should be equal
communication between the team member and also the team manager. The project all helps
to develop the skill of teamwork that how the teamwork goes and how the people help each
other in order to get a successful project. The proper teamwork is required by the teams, there
should be the proper coordination of the work so that the person can help to get the proper
project. There should be proper communication with the stakeholders that the communication
plans and viable communication should successful. There is a need of the stakeholders who
are influenced by the project. There is a detailed discussion for wbs which is to deal with the
project which is minute, there is RACI chart which has the project analysis documentation,
etc. this project also teaches the importance of Gnatt and WBS which was to know
previously, therefore, the project has developed the skills.
There were problems faced by the project:
1. The project was not completed on time because of miscommunication; therefore, the
communication should be strong so that the project does not get delayed.

2. The project should have the alternative employees because if an employee is not able to
work then there should be the alternative of that work should be present so that the project
does not get delay.
Risk of the project
1. The cost may be got high because of heavy resources and there is need to have the proper
resources and the cost should go get high because this will be the only loss of the project
manager ad team.s
2. There should be proper risk management that is identifying the risk, analysis the risk and
the categories the risk that forms where the risk is coming.
3. There can be timeline risk that means the work or the project does not complete on time.s
4. There can be an operational risk that means the project is not completed on time and the
project should be monitored.
5. The construction material may not get on time.
6. There can be an uncertain risk that is of the natural disaster so there should all things
present to get prevented from the risk.

Conclusion
There are many things learn from the project that how to deal with every done and this all
have explained in the above report. The project also includes the Gantt chart, wbs. There was
a communication plan in which there was stakeholder included and we have prepared
different scheduling charts. There is a different type of planning involved so that the project
will be effective. There is also discussion about the risk which involves it the project and
what type of risk have involved and how it will remove. These all thing explained in simple
language so that it will help to understand the person about the project management.
