INTRODUCTION
Business ethics can be said as the study of appropriate
business policies and practices which is considered to be
controversial that can includes corporate governance,
discrimination, CSR and also fiduciary responsibilities
(Kaptein, 2017).
In this project the chosen company is Cadbury which is a
British MNC This project will identify the reason why
this company is considered ethical.
It will talk about the ethical philosophy utilized by the
company.
IDENTIFICATION OF ETHICALITY OF THE
ORGANIZATION
Cadbury is a British chocolate producing company which deals
with chocolate production and is the owner of the world-famous
dairy milk product.
This organization has managed its ethical responsibility to its
maximum.
This company has huge expectations from its suppliers but it
understands that for implementing the sustainable practices its
suppliers need help and support which is provided by this
company.
Cadbury faces challenges in build its supply chain as it affects the
social and environmental factors.
This company worked very closely with the farmers which
produced its products and also with other producers for
embedding sustainable (Byars and Stanberry, 2018).
ETHICAL
PHILOSOPHY
There are different ethical
philosophy which are followed by
different organization.
Utilitarianism theory is an ethical
philosophy and is also known as the
theory of morality.
According to this theory the action
of the advocate which help to foster
happiness and opposes to the
actions which can cause harm or
unhappiness is considered the
ethical responsibility.
In this theory the judgement is done
on the basis of the result, if the
actions prove to be good for a
greater number of people it is
considered ethically correct.
Cadbury utilizes this ethical theory
as its philosophy for the success of
the organization.
BUSINESS STANDARDS AND
ROLE OF SENIOR
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Business standards are also known as the
rules, regulations or guild-lines which
specify or define the business its code of
practice.
It is also said as those acts which the
business does for the development of the
trust of customers in the brand.
The guidelines for the business standards
consists of the quality, performance, safety
and also the terminology which helps the
business test its management system.

With the help of this project it can be
concluded that Business ethics is very
important for Cadbury and it has proved
itself by showing its ethical responsibilities
towards its suppliers, employees and also
