Research type:
There are mainly two types of research which is being used by researcher such as
qualitative and quantitative research. Quantitative research is being used to quantify the main
problem by gathering all informations and data in numeric context or by mathematical
techniques (Bejiga and et.al., 1996). It is also called a systematic investigation of phenomena.
Some examples of collective data through this type includes online survey, observation, online
polls etc. It has mainly 4 types and methods such as survey research, correlation al research,
casual comparative research and experimental research. It has some importance as researcher
can get accurate and reliable data, eliminate bias and has wider scope of data analysis. The main
aim of researcher for using this research type in conducting this research is to get deep
understanding and improvement about recruitment, training and section process and its critical
impacts.
On the other hand, qualitative type of research also plays an important role in collecting
informations (Starman, 2013). For this research, researcher has made an effective use of both

scientific way of collecting non-numerical data. By this type, researcher not only get answers of
why but also get the answers of what. It allows depths and further probing of respondents where,
researcher tries to understand the feelings of respondents on the main topic. It is being done by
random sampling. Some examples of this research type includes focus group, interview etc.
There are some importance of qualitative research such as it is real time data, researcher can use
multiple forms of data rather than depend on single data form like observation, interview,
document etc. This type of data mainly works towards solving critical issues by breaking down
them into meaningful interferences. Open ended questions is being asked and preferred in this
type. By evaluating depth detail on long life learning, no discrimination and coaching, scholar
identified importance of training for accomplishing goals of the company.
Sampling: Sampling means to select a group of people among a wider range of people
population. For collecting informations it is important to select a group of people because
researcher can not focus whole population at a time (Coyne, 1997). Probabilistic and non-
probabilistic are 2 types in which researcher uses probabilistic type for this research. This type
give equal opportunities to all people. It is also called random sampling. The main aim of using
random sampling is to eliminate bias by providing equal chance to all selected people. For this
research 25 samples has been gathered. By asking questions related to the main topic to improve
the process of recruitment, selection and training for employees and its increasing impacts on
performance of the company, from 35 HR of Cadbury company, it will accomplish its goals.
Data collection: There are mainly 2 types of collecting data and informations related to
the topic. It all mainly depends on and related with the type of research which is being used by
researcher like qualitative and quantitative. Primary and secondary are called main and effective
types of collecting informations (Hox and Boeije, 2005). Researcher make coding and then with
the help of SPSS tools it collected all relevant data. Primary data collection includes
questionnaire and survey. A questionnaire refers a research instrument that consist of a series of
questions with the main aim of collecting informations related to the topic. It takes time but give
authentic data ad informations to scholar. It is called primary and first hand because this type of
data is not being collected and used before and researcher collect for the first time. For this
research also, scholar will use primary data collection by questionnaires.
Secondary type of data also plays a vital role in collecting relevant data which is being
collected by books and journals, articles, internet, informations from government agency etc.

informations which are collected from secondary data are called second hand because that are
being used before by several researchers and people. It can be both qualitative and quantitate.
They are not accurate all the time, so researcher mainly focuses on primary type.
M.2 Evaluation of accuracy and reliability of different research methods applied.
It is important for researcher to maintain accuracy and reliability for making qualitative
research. Data collected from different sources and types of research helps researcher in
collecting accurate data. With the help of qualitative and primary data collection and by making
an effective use of questionnaire, scholar maintain reliability (Waksberg, 1978). It is also
evaluated that with the help of reliable as well as accurate data, scholar can solve any type of
problem and accomplish its pre-determined goals. Data analysis help researcher in making
information reliable by molding and transforming them.

P.5 Data Analysis and Interpretation
Data Analysis: Data Analysis carried after the data collection process completed. When
the data is gathered, it is unstructured and not useful for evaluating the outcomes. So, data
analysis is the process to clean, transform and synchronize the data into meaningful information.
In this present research, researcher has used descriptive analysis tools for data analysis through
coding techniques. For making the research more successful, qualitative data is being used. With
the help of open-ended question on life long learning, no discrimination and coaching it is
identified that training plays an important role as it can increase overall productivity of an
organization.
