Information about road safety
The targeted audience for information of the road safety are the can depend on the
problems to be addressed and it can be whole population or it can be targeted groups. However,
the information provided should be provided where audience must understand the concern for
which it is organized. For this, University, Colleges and schools are taken such as University of
Sydney and Newington College. Failure in providing the information could lead to unsuccessful
campaign.
The purpose of the choosing group was they had the younger and upcoming generation
and will provide the aware about the road safety and other areas. It is conducted by Australian
Road Safety Foundation (ARSF) and they decided to name it "Road safety communication
campaign". It will be shown through the broacher and will focus on the areas such as road user
behaviour, types of road safety campaign, targeted audience, media and campaigning evaluation.
The rationale behind choosing the Brochures is that it can be in any format that is flyer,
leaflet or pamphlet, provide specific information to the things they feature and can be multi-
folded. Further, they are target oriented and aid in getting more attention of the potential
customers due to the quality of the design. It is pocket-friendly, effective to carry and contain
only the necessary details. They have interesting, demonstrative and supporting information
through the use of appropriate images as-well-as due to call to action. It contains many formats
such as flyers, menus and newsletter and can be bi-fold and tri-fold style. Through this better
information can be provided to the limited groups as selected under this. It can be accessed in
more interactive way and effective in providing the information at the same time when compared
to website and newspaper.
In order to provide the information, planning is required for the distribution methods so
that targeted audience can be understand the message. It depends on the communication type,
target, media characteristics and amount used for the communication. It can be provided directly
to the person or through the campaign. The promotion can be provided through the advertising,
using interactive ways, by maintaining the public or personal relations. Here direct message
would be provided to the people through the use of the broacher. Using it broad general audience
can be targeted easily. They have the ability to generate the interest in the readers so that they

can read it. As the targeted audience are mentioned, these may further include the press and
public. Promotion activities will be done through the media and other channels such as TV, radio
and social media. The Brochure can be prepared by the individual or in the groups. It required
the title, organization name and logo if possible.
Under the general layout it can contain the contact information, mailing addresses, front
cover, features/benefits, action, elsewhere, things if desired or required. It can be easily
photocopied or can be printed for which it can be little expensive. At last it is distributed the
potential targets. The target chosen is the University campus as large people can be gathered
there. In order to communicate efficiently professional-looking brochures must directly address
to the audience.
As mentioned about the development process, further, approval from the Road
Authorities as-well-as from the college authorities is required to be taken. It will be printed
directly through printers.
