which product is to be stored on campus. This survey is being conducted for a vending machine

This survey is conducted on the college-going students to know their choices and preferences
about the food products on campus. This study included the sample size of 200 students and to
collect data from the respondents’ questionnaire technique has been used. After conducting this
survey, I came to know that vending machine of food products is important on campus. Out of
200 respondents, 65 were undergraduates, 95 were Graduate, and 40 were postgraduate. 105
respondents were female, and 95 were male. Out of 200 respondents, 80 were from on campus,
and 120 were from off campus.
Out of 200 respondents, 150 were satisfied 30 were neutral, and 20 were dissatisfied with the
dining option of the campus. 170 respondents said that there are varieties of foods available on
campus and remaining 30 students were neutral. As much as 180 students like fast food on
campus and ten students do not like fast food at all. 10 respondents did not respond to this
question. On the choice of the foods, most of the students have selected more than one option. 90
respondents have selected sandwich with beer, 40 students have selected pastry and soft drinks,
ten students have selected tea & coffee, and 60 students have selected fruits with beer. As much

as 160 students purchase food products every day on campus and remaining 40 respondents said
that they purchase food product 5-10 times a month. 180 respondents said that they spend $20-
$50 on foods product and remaining 20 respondents reported that they spend more than $50. As
many as 150 students said that they mostly prefer vending machine to purchase food products,
and 50 students said that they buy food products from retailers.
Conclusion: after going through the analysis of data it can be concluded that sandwich and beer
are a preferable food product by the students. Therefore, the vending machine company should
consider the availability of these products on campus.
