Project Title: Implementation of campus network system for university
Current System: The current system of the Melbourne Institute of Technology is such that
there is no wireless computing facilities into the university, therefore the students are not able
to access to the internet easily. The proposed campus network system in the university provides
the students and staffs with central computing facilities with the network server. The network
system provides the staffs with wireless access to the network is needed. The authorized person
can able to access to the wireless network system.
Project Aims and Objectives: The aim of this project proposal is to implement a campus
network system for the Melbourne Institute of Technology for growth as well as development of
teaching in addition to research. It provides the staffs work related to administration,
examination and admission of the students into the University. SMART objectives of this project
proposal are:
Specific: Provide wireless networking system to the students and staffs in 340 days
Measurable: Due to implementation of campus network system, the university wants to
increase their productivity by 30 percent from the networking system.
Attainable: There is an increase into profitability and productivity of the organization.
Relevant: The system conquers new students and expands of the network.
Timed: The project must complete within 340 days.

3. There are weak security policies into the university. The polices should be monitored
for providing secured network to the users.
