Introduction & Background
Canada Brown Bakery is a very renowned Bakery in the Moose Jaw area, and it attracts people
from every part of the country and even the celebrities visiting Moose Jaw. The Bakery is
successfully working for the last 5 years with 10 staff members and annual revenue of $550,000.
This Bakery is always running busy, moreover, people visit us from every part of the country and
always gives feedback whenever visiting Moose Jaw, they give Positive feedback for the items
but customer wants smooth availability of the items on Metro Cities with the same Quality
because Moose Jaw is small town of Saskatchewan and its away from Main City. So, I looked at
the brighter side as the opportunity to start a new branch of my Bakery.
At this point, on initial phase, I am planning to expand the business and open the branch of
Canada Brown in Regina with a combined positive atmosphere, friendly and skilled staff, a wide
range in the menu to create a new dining-in experience for the people coming in and to reach our
goal of high value in the fusion food position. This new branch will employ 10 to 15 people and
the citizens living in nearby areas will get to taste the authentic taste of different Bakery
Products.

Main Body
Canada Brown invests in making the best quality food and taste giving quick, friendly, and
specific assistance. It is my objective to be the owner of choice and offer chances for staff to
grow, progress, and have a respectable job in a good and enjoyable workplace. We are going to
have 10 staff which includes chef, serving staff and cleaners. A manager will be hired for this
place who will look at the functioning of the Bakery and manage the staff members too. the
Bakery shall run busy every time and managing the walk-ins will be a task for the manager and I
would be there for a couple of months to assist the manager.
The Bakery business in our selected area is flourishing and a few bakeries have indeed
established themselves, but the majority are clubs and non-friendly establishments. Canada
Brown will cater to vacationers as well as local food business patrons. We hope to attract
individuals who are looking for good meals and an interesting vibe. We will try to target
different segments of markets like singles, families, businessmen, couples, and tourists with
different schemes and offers Ideally, to open a Bakery I would need at least 3,000-4,000 sq. feet
of space with a specific interior that is unique and attractive. As our Bakery is slightly inside the
city, I am planning to keep an extra space for parking.
Marketing is an essential part of any business. To market my Bakery, we are planning to use
social media to promote, even plan to partner with food delivery apps to reach more people, local
newspapers, and word-of-mouth/n-Bakery marketing. We will attempt to leverage the range of
mailings and broadcast media, the uniqueness of the VIP party, and the grace of fully skilled
waiting staff in the process of marketing to our target population. With this marketing plan, we
are expecting the new Bakery to add $500,000 in revenue in the first year The project is
scheduled to last for a couple of months until the Bakery is ready to welcome the people and
experience high-quality dining. This two-month schedule includes finalizing the place, signing
the lease, hiring the contractor, project consultant, and architecture for renovating the space,
applying for various licenses, insurance, ordering equipment, technology, and software for
functioning, and keeping the data.
Canada Brown Bakery needs a total of $800,000 of capital investment to launch a new branch of
my Bakery in Regina for the renovations of the leased space, furniture, kitchen & food-prep
equipment, legal fees, marketing, staff members, and maintenance. Check appendices for the
detailed cost of starting the new branch of Canada Brown Bakery in Regina. The overall
summary in the appendices will represent the overall summary of the business plan. The total
investment is expected to be around $800,000. I have an initial budget of $300,000 and I expect
an additional investment of around $500,000 from the investors.
