Introduction:
Cancer is defined as the uncontrolled cell growth or malignant cell growth (Cancer.org
2019). This assignment mainly focusses on the cancer which leads to several symptoms such as,
loss of appetite, excessive weight loss, high blood pressure and dizziness. In the essay the type of
cancer which is responsible for the stated symptoms is evaluated along with the cause of such
symptoms. Different possibilities of disease which can be observed by evaluating the symptoms
are mentioned. The link between the current intervention and the symptoms along with the
insurance status is explained.
Discussion:
In the patient suffering from cancer, the body of the patient produces a hormone named
as cytokines, which is responsible for the loss of weight, muscle and also induces loss of appetite
in the individual. However the treatment of the cancer such as, radiotherapy and chemotherapy is
also responsible for the loss of appetite and the weight loss (Bruggeman et al. 2016). It is
observed that the medication such as anti-VEGF medications which impacts the blood vessel is
taken during the treatment of the cancer, is also responsible for increasing the blood pressure of
the individual (Gibson et al. 2017). Such medication is also responsible for the causing dizziness.
By looking at the symptoms it is the possibility that the person might be suffering from
kidney cancer, rectal cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer and liver cancer. However,
detailed analysis of symptoms indicate the maximum possibilities of the kidney cancer (Schmidt
and Linehan 2016)
If the patient is suffering from stated symptoms, it is recommended for the patient to talk
to their family and the caregivers about that and immediately contact a general practitioner to

avoid any major complications in the future (Rolston, 2019). If the cancer is detected in the
primary stage it can be cured (Apetoh et al.2015). Hence, it is recommended for the patient who
has been detected with such symptoms to immediately contact a general practitioner
(Clinicaltrials.gov, 2019).
To reduce the weight loss, the patient should take frequent meals in small interval. The
patient should visit a dietician and eat according to the prescribed diet (Bruggeman et al. 2016).
To reduce the blood pressure, the patient is advised to intake low sodium diet and potassium rich
foods. The patient is encouraged to involve in physical activity (Souza et al. 2015).
It is important for the each and every individual to involve in the healthcare insurance
policies, which help the Individual to lower health related costs. In case of patient suffering from
cancer, they should have healthcare insurance so that the expenditure in the treatment of the
disease can be reduced, as in case of cancer, different types of therapy such as chemotherapy and
the radiotherapy which are costly (Guy et al. 2015).
Conclusion:
From the above essay, it can be concluded that symptoms such as high blood pressure,
dizziness, loss of appetite and weight loss. From the symptoms, it can be stated that the patient
might be suffering from rectal cancer, colon cancer, and lung cancer. Reason of such symptoms
is also stated. If the patient is suffering from such symptoms, it is advised to inform caregivers
and the general practitioner. The precaution taken and the insurance status are also explained.
