Report
AI Summary
This report is a personal reflection on the Capsim Core Simulation, highlighting the author's learning experiences and insights gained from the simulation. The author discusses the simulation's ability to introduce fundamental business concepts and decision-making processes within an integrated, cross-functional model. The report covers the challenges encountered, such as lack of transparency and data, and how the simulation helped overcome these issues. Furthermore, the author outlines a personal development plan to enhance competencies and become a more effective senior manager, focusing on areas like understanding business operations and being result-oriented. The report also includes a team debrief, analyzing the team's management structure, strategic execution, and operational decisions, along with what went well and what could have been improved. The team's strategy focused on low costs through minimum R&D, sales, and production expenses, along with high plant utilization and automation to compete on price. The report is a comprehensive overview of the simulation experience and its implications for future professional development.

Capsim Core Simulation
Capsim core is always an excellent simulation that is known to have the capability of
combining both flexibilities with simplicity (Markulis, Nugent & Strang, 2015). As a result, I
think that this is the primary reason why it has been able to provide a complete foundation with
the intention of introducing various learners to fundamental business concepts together with
techniques. Before going through the whole simulation, I never had any idea regarding a vast
range of essential business concepts that can always be implemented under certain circumstances
to attain a specific goal in life (Clark & Kent, 2013). As a result of using the entire simulation, I
have been able to learn a vast range of issues. When it comes to operating a business in an
integrated, cross-functional model, I learned that Capsim core simulation provides an
opportunity to make people excited about the world of business. It does this by exposing them to
a vast range of concepts and terminologies in a simulated environment that is more fun and
engaging at all times. Capsim Core simulation gives it the first opportunity to be viewed as an
experimental learning tool that allows different personalities to adequately manage a $40 million
company through the implementation of various forms of decisions and even gaining insights
across different areas (Vázquez-Calderón, 2014).
Moreover, I came to learn that the simulation is capable of providing the right set of
information together with metrics that are always needed to make decisions within the shortest
time possible. It also came to my realization that the automated decisions that still found across
various functional areas correctly provide Capsim core reliable flexibility to fit within any entry-
level and even institutional approach perfectly. Additionally, after going through the simulation,
I strongly agree that the Capsim core goes beyond the boundaries of web-based simulation by
coming up with everything that is needed to create a productive and experimental learning

environment, most so within the limits of a classroom. Again, I found out that the automated
debrief tool attached to the Capsim core equips various students with the right set of information
that is always required to scale up functional decisions at any given time. It is an insight that also
provides any given professor with the capability of highlighting a specific combination of results,
thereby leading towards the creation of a vast range of teachable moments capable of addressing
program learning goals (Jung et al., 2015).
To develop my competencies together with confidence to become an effective senior
manager, I came to realize that I need to scale up my skills in terms of dealing with various
parameters that are attached to Capsim core simulation. As far as the whole simulation is
concerned, I was also able to highlight some of the challenges that are always connected to a
management team decision making. It is as a result of these challenges that generally make it
very hard for specific goals and objectives to be attained within the stipulated tie frame, this
further leads to a lot of time wastage (Rastegari & Salonen, 2015). One of the significant
challenges is that certain levels of decision making always appears not to be transparent
(Dickinson & Dickinson, 2012). Moreover, there is still a lack of reliable data. As a result, I
came to realize that adequate implementation of Capsim Core simulation can be able to bring on
board a more reliable set of data that can be used to meet various objectives within an
appropriate time frame.
Personal development plan
(1) Adequate simulation of the Capsim Core-Scaling up of competencies is always essential
progress that is still required. As a result, one of the essential things that I will need to
further my skills to become more competent is to be able to simulate the Capsim Core

adequately. Through this, I will be able to develop a clear understanding of a vast range
of business concepts. This will further provide a positive environment of becoming a
senior manager to carry out different operations according to the intended goals and
objectives.
(2) Develop a clear understanding of various business operations- Through this; I will be
able to clearly understand how multiple concepts within the field of business are capable
of linking with one another. This will further improve my management skills, thus
creating the first performance in terms of becoming a senior manager.
(3) I will try to become a result-oriented kind of individual- Being a result-oriented kind of
personality is one condition that can be significantly scaled up through the
implementation of Capsim Core simulation. It will be much focused on producing
positive results, thus creating some terms of being competitive.
