Task 2: Your story
I was born in a family three, and it happened that I was the last born. My elder brother
and sister took my parent's path career, which is health related. As a result, I chose to take a
career that would make me unique; hence, I decided to specialize in the field of information
and technology. On the same note, being lastborn, I never had the opportunity to interact with
my parents and elder siblings because of their high-demanding occupations. Therefore, I used
to spend much time in desolate. Nevertheless, with the rapid technological evolution brought
by the Internet in the early 2000s, I could no more feel the loneliness as I could interact and
communicate with my family members and friends through the mobile phone.
With the advent of the Internet and wireless communication facilitated by the cell
phone significantly contributed to my passion for specializing in IT. The most exciting thing
regarding IT is its ability to facilitate the transmission of information and data through the air
over long distances. I learned that IT was the most powerful technology that the world relied
upon very much, which triggered me to want to know more about it and how it works.
I, therefore, decided to pursue Information Technology at the undergraduate level to
enable me to master the ideology behind it. My interest is to own a software development
company; this desire has been triggered by the various internships that I have had with
software development companies. Owning a software company is significant because it will
allow me to solve real-time problems affecting small businesses to compete favorably with
big companies.

Task 4: Activities
Intel Sustainability
Intel has had a long history of commitment to protecting the environment, which was
initiated by its pioneer Gordon Moore. The objective of Intel is to consistently decline
emissions, hone efficiency, and conserve resources in all its operations (Intel Corporation,
2018). Similarly, Intel has been on the frontline to enhance its products by ensuring their
performance is energy-efficient.
Cultural sensitivity leaders
In the modern age global places of work, it has become common for leaders to effective
across cultures. Therefore, a leader one is supposed to be effective across cultures and even
transform cultural differences into strengths (Ortiz‐de‐Mandojana, & Bansal, 2016). Indeed,
building cultural sensitivity leaders aid them to understand ways to operate across cultural
differences.

Social entrepreneurship spirit
In order to become a social as well as environmental healer one should be an entrepreneur. In
this sense, the entrepreneurial spirit is not about making a lot of money by passion. The core

aspect of entrepreneurship is to have a vision and making it real through managerial skills by
assuming the risk of any enterprise.

Care for the environment
Acting in an environmentally responsible manner is a legal duty, thus each business has a
responsibility to comply with different environmental laws and regulations to decline their
effect on the surrounding. Indeed, through companies complying with environmental laws
makes good business sense, which aids in enhancing their long-term achievement.
Minimising waste, declining use of fossil energy, utilizing raw materials efficiently, and
averting pollution reduces business expenses to improve efficiency (Epstein, 2018).
