I am submiting my name and credentials for consideration for the Capstone program in
HDBW University-Germany. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree majoring in
innovation and entrepreneurship in business from ABC university-UAE. I have chosen
the program as I have always been interested in acquiring exceptional skills in networking
events, workshops, seminars and corporate visits. My fascination with the program is
derived from the basic requirements of my master’s degree to have the necessary skills in
the areas mentioned above to a successful career.
The focus of my education is tied to the mindset of stability over showmanship and that
of function over form. I desire that with an opportunity to study your program, I will have
acquired a comprehensive view regarding how innovation and entrepreneurial business
structure are met through various designs associated with workshops, seminars, and
corporate events and also networking events. My desire to be equipped with skills of
planning and conducting successful workshops and seminars geared towards
implementing innovative and entrepreneurial community-based projects also informed my

decision to apply for the program. It has been a discouraging experience to attend
unsuccessful seminars and workshops since the organizers and facilitators lacked the
necessary skills to plan and conduct successful ones.
The customed introduction to networking events, seminars, and corporate visits together
with workshops forms the next frontier in career development. The business environment
is in continuous change with new trends arising every day. This implies the need for
improvement in innovation and entrepreneurial skills through networked discussions and
collective stakeholder engagement. This can be achieved through seminars and workshops
and hence the need for specialized expertise in those fields.
