AI Summary
This capstone project outlines an implementation plan designed to improve healthcare accessibility, focusing on key organizational resources, stakeholder identification, and potential impacts. The plan details the roles of the local government, patients, healthcare providers, and transport/telecommunication services in achieving better healthcare delivery. The timeline spans two years, including stages for increasing resources, funding, hospital construction, staff recruitment/training, and final assessment. Potential barriers, such as insufficient funds, are addressed with strategies like seeking aid from central or state governments. The ultimate goal is to enhance patient access to healthcare services and improve overall healthcare outcomes within the community; Desklib provides access to similar solved assignments.

2CAPSTONE PROJECT: IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
Introduction
Change management can be defined as a systematic way of dealing with the
transformational or a transitional change in the technologies, goals and organization in any
organization. The main purpose of the change management is to implement strategies for helping
people to adapt to the change, control the change. Implementation plan can be defined as a
strategy which brings the plan to life. Without the implementation plan it is difficult to achieve
the stated objectives and goals (Hayes, 2018). This study will be based on the designing an
implementation plan for the change plan which is based on the previously designed logic model:
Accessibility to healthcare.
Discussion
Organizational resources required
The organizational resources required in the implement and maintain the change plan are
the healthcare resources like the drugs, transport services, food stuff, hospital beds; increased
number of staffs, new hospitals to cope up with the increased number of patients; sufficient
amount of funding to cater to the needs of the health-related operations, healthcare related
trainings for the healthcare providers.
Identification of the Stakeholder required in the proposed plan
The stakeholders identified in the implementation plan of change are the local
government, patients, healthcare providers, transport services, telecommunications services. The
local government is the most important stakeholder which will both act as the assessor and
facilitator of the funds. The local government will act to improve the quality of healthcare
rendered to the patients and the healthcare seekers at a lower cost. While it is also important to

note that local government will act to assess the care rendered to the patients living in the local
and neighbouring areas. The next important stakeholder is the patients and they are the centre
point of the entire of the implementation plan. The entire plan will be based on the better
delivery of care to the patients. The next important stakeholder are the telecommunication
services and the transport services. These two services are vital considering the fact that both the
patient and the healthcare providers will utilize these services for accessing the healthcare and
healthcare delivery. The transport services and the telecommunication services will help the
patients to easily access the healthcare services.
The impact of the change plan on organization and its stakeholders
The change plan which is designed for the healthcare organization and its stakeholders
will bring the necessary changes. The patients will be able to easily access the healthcare
services and the health care organization will be able to render the healthcare services to the
patients. The local government need to work on the set up of a few hospitals so that they can take
in more number of patients (Hyde & Shortell, 2012). The healthcare organisation will have the
extra burden of training its clinical staffs so they can tackle the increased flow of patients into the
hospitals. The transport and the telecommunication services will also face the increased demand
in the local areas with the increase in the usage of the services (Mao & Nekorchuk, 2013).

The implementation plan will include all the stakeholders to play an active role in the
implementation plan. Thus, it is important to mention that the entire plan will have a duration of
2 years and within it hospitals will be constructed, and a final assessment will also be done by
the local government.
Implementation steps
The local government will provide the necessary funds to build the new hospitals and
along with it the procurement process of the drugs, foodstuffs and hospital beds will be carried

out simultaneously. Secondly the recruitment of the hospital staffs will be carried to fill the
vacancies of the new and the existing hospitals. The transport services will be augmented
through the process of procurement of extra vehicles that will provide the emergency services.
The final step will include an assessment of the entire plan outcome by the local government
itself.
Potential barriers and the how to overcome them
The potential barrier will arise from the proper procurement of the hospital beds, drugs
and the food stuffs and the insufficient funds will jeopardize the entire plan. The construction of
the new hospitals will face hurdles if funds are not available at the proper time. This can be
addressed by having the central or the state government to also provide aid to the entire program
and act as a support for the local government (Pager, Holden & Golenko, 2012).
Conclusion
From the above discussion it can be concluded that the stakeholders identified in the
implementation plan of change are the local government, patients, healthcare providers, transport
services, telecommunications services. The local government need to work on the set up of a few
hospitals so that they can take in more number of patients. The healthcare organisation will have
the extra burden of training its clinical staffs so they can tackle the increased flow of patients into
the hospitals.
