INTRODUCTION
It is important for an individual to decide the careerand then work in the same direction. It is
seen that the competition is increasing day by day. It is vital for a person to anise the trends and
select the best and most appropriate career option(Motlogelwa, 2018). The decision needs to be
effective as the whole life will go in the same direction. The career that is been selected is of HR
manager. It is important analyse the skills that are required in the field. So in this report there is
discussion related to the skills that are required to become an effective HR manager. An action
plan that supports an individual to become effective HR manager. In the end of the report CV is
also formulated.
MAIN BODY
Personal Analysis
It is vital for a person to know about own strengths and weakness. As self evaluation is
vital to form good career and grab opportunities. It is seen that it is prominent to know the
strengths and work more on them. It is equally important to identify the weakness and the
develop them so as to gain advantage over the competitors. SWOT analysis will be helpful for
personal analysis is done below:
Strengths
I am good at communication skills. It is
required for an HR to interact in an
effective way(Morton and Gil, 2019).
I am also a proactive person. This
shows that I understand the problems
that are faced by the individuals. Along
with that I take actions to solve those
problems.
I have analysed that I am good at
reporting. As I have learnt various ways
that help in reporting such as data
collection and data mining through
software.
Weakness
I am not good at advising. I am bad at
advising. I am unable to give orders to
other and give them advice.
One more problem that I am facing is
related to that I am unable to manage
time. I face problems with completing
the work as per the deadlines.
I am not good at writing skills. This is
also one of the weaknesses that I am
facing.

Opportunity
As I am good at communication skills it
shows that there are good opportunities
that are available for me as HR
manager.
I am able to give solution to the
problems that are faced by others. This
shows I will become good HR manager
and solve the problems that are faced
by the employees.
Threats
Competition is increasing day by day
(Bradfield, Conwell and Koch, 2018).
That is causing threat as I am facing
various challenges in competing with
my colleagues.
Another threat is related to lack of
experience. I have never done any job
before so this may also cause problem
in future.
These are the skills that I am good at. It is important to work on these skills as well. As a HR
manager is expected to be good and fluent in communication. I will work on my writing skills as
that will also be required to write emails and communicate with writing. I will also work on my
time management skills. As it is of vital importance to manage the work and make efforts to
make other work on time(Winter, 2020). I will enhance my skills in such a manner that I do not
face the threat of competition. I will make my self job ready. I have chosen the career path after
proper research of the market trends. There are opportunities available for the post and I also feel
that I am a good match for the same. IU will work on the weakness and try to change them in my
strengths so that I am able to find effective job and work in a proper manner.
CAREER ACTION PLAN
An action plan states the skills that are required by an individual to work effectively. It
shows the importance of the skill as well as actions that can be taken(Solberg, Zhang and Martin,
2020). It is important to formulate the action plan as it helps in development of skills. An action
plan is a document that is formulated to write about the skills that are required by an individual
