INTRODUCTION
Marketing representative is an individual who is responsible for the promotions and
advertisements in an organization so that the company can be able to have more control on their
products and services and perceived as well as attract more customers towards them (Bowers,
2020). It is a major responsibility of an individual in a company as it is connected with the
profitability of the company directly and important for the growth and development of the
company. Tesco public limited company is a multinational grocery store aunties in general
merchandise retailer in England United Kingdom. The company has their headquarters in
Welwyn garden city and considered as third largest retailer of the world if they are measured in
terms of gross revenues. This report contains my personal analysis in terms of various skills
knowledge and experience that will help me to attain the position of market representatives in
Tesco. It also contains my career action plan which helps me to identify the importance and the
ways of improvement of various skills that are required to become marketing representative.
Further this report contains the CV and LinkedIn profile which is the first thing to impress
recruiter in the company.
MAIN BODY
Personal Analysis
I worked two years in Cornelius limited and one year in Clair line limited which provides
me an experience with job profile and enhance my problem solving skills as well as
communication skills (Kobets, Yatsenko, and Buiak, 2020). My recent job as a windows and
plaster filter in Aluminum limited helps me to develop my social media management and
communication skills that are essential for my future growth and development. I want to be
marketing representative at Tesco Company. I have analyzed that there are several skills that are
developed in me during my academic sessions and with the help of my personal development
program (Gil-Cordero, Cabrera-Sánchez, and Arrás-Cortés, 2020). I have analyzed that my day
to day activities and why academic degree helps me and development of effective skills that
provide me required knowledge and experience for the position of marketing representative in
Tesco. The various skills I have developed with the help of academic skills and my personal
development program are explained below:

Communication Skills: My previous experience in my job helps me to communicate with
various people which helps me to enhance my communication skills. I need to communicate with
my seniors and juniors in the organization and which I need to be very polite and clear for the
information I need to forward to them. This helps me to improve my listening skills and
communication skills.
Problem Solving Skills: During my experience in my education and job experience I have faced
several problems which needs to be solve on immediate basis. This requires me to be very
effective to solve the problems and quick to be problem solver. This helps me to improve my
problem solving skills which are essential for future growth and development.
Social Media Management: I am a person who is really connected with social media and also
have a good influence on my social media followers (van der Deen, 2021). Apart from this my
job in Clair line limited for one year helps me in the development of social media management.
Social media management is also part of my education in business and management which I
have taken from 2020 to 2024. This has developed my social media management skills that will
be beneficial as a marketing representative of Tesco as I will be able to market the products and
services of the company in effective manner. In this digital society this social media management
skills will help me to develop my future and growth in Tesco with the help of social media
marketing.

Career action plan is a plan which helps an individual to enhance and improve their essential
skills that are required for their future growth and career (Tam, Rao, and Hall, 2021). I want to
be a marketing representative at Tesco which requires several skills to be developed for effective
