INTRODUCTION
It is essential for all the individuals to have the right skills and knowledge so that there is
going to be higher functioning. Expertises has to be present in the work which they are doing so
that there is going to be higher outcome. There has to be good self evaluation of individuals so
that there is going to be higher functioning so that there would be better functioning. Knowledge
and experience is going to come in help and there are a lot of changes which are coming in the
trends of tourism industry which have to be adapted effectively. The further report would be
discussing the improvements and analysing self so that there is going to be higher achievements
which are going to be present for myself.

PERSONAL ANALYSIS
There are a lot of skills, knowledge and experience which is required in the tourism
industry so that there is going to be effective working which would be present. There are a lot of
voluntary work which is going to be attended by me so that there is a good improvement which
is going to be present so that there is going to be good achievement in the future (Wang and
et.al., 2017). The following report is going to discuss the skills and knowledge which is required
in me to be able to have a successful career in the tourism industry.
 Knowledge
In tourism industry it is very important to have the right knowledge and information which is
going to be passed on to the customers. The trends in this industry is changing rapidly therefore
it is very essential to have good knowledge and training present in the employee so that there is
going to be higher achievement and smoother functioning which is going to be present (Van
Wart and et.al., 2020). They have to be good organizing work which needs to be present So that
there is going to be quality requirement of travel agents and the satisfaction of the customers is
going to be present. That has to be good use of techniques have to be present so that the
knowledge and techniques can make my career goals be achieved effectively and efficiently.

 Communication skills
Since there are so many changes which are coming in the tourism industry, required a good
skill of communication so that the goals and objectives can be achieved. There is going to be no
information by the employees and clients the satisfaction level is going to be lower and
productivity and operations as well (Hidayati, 2018). When there is good information which is
being let out like mission vision and the techniques which have changed in the market that is
going to be higher walking and productivity which would be present in order to make sure that
the organisation is being able to achieve these factors. In our tourism industry communication is
very essential since the clients are going to trust the agency blindly to be able to travel safely and
in healthy environment.
 Teamwork
Teamwork is very central in a tourism industry because there are a lot of specific
qualifications which are required. There are a lot of times that language becomes a barrier and
when there is teamwork which is present the company will be able to make sure that this barrier
is being overcome. Hiring of the employees and team members are going to be present
accordingly so that there is going to be higher functioning which would be present (Castañeda,
2019). The culture is going to be different for all the clients and their values as well therefore
having a large team of different backgrounds is very essential in the tourism industry so that
there is going to be higher understanding and functioning which is going to be present.
 Problem solving
With different background come a lot of issues regarding culture and values which are
present and also the ideas which would be generating. There has to be a common ground which
needs to be present so that there is all higher productivity and achievement of goals. Flexibility
needs to be provided to all the customers and employees so that the profitability is going to be
higher of the tourism and the standards of the company are also going to increase. The small
problems need to be addressed on time and solutions have to be found out so that there would be
higher operations and achievements which would be present (Alesch and Niblack-Rickard,
2018). Small problems can become a larger problem later on therefore problem solving in this
industry is very essential.

CAREER ACTION PLAN
There has to be good planning which is required so that there is going to be higher
achievement which is going to be present. A sense of direction is very important in the market
since the competition is high and being able to achieve the career goals I will have to be
improving with time so that I can match and raise the standards of the market.

knowledge and practice of the learning which I have in college and be able to achieve my

a long run.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that with the time frame of action plan I would
be able to achieve the skills which are lacking in me and there is going to be higher achievement
which I would be having in the market. It is important for me to be able to achieve the goals and
targets which are set so that there is going to be higher functioning and satisfaction which I
would be having.
