INTRODUCTION
Career action plan is the plan which is managed by the people to plan their career
intent to their reflective future and secure career development plan (De Vos, Van der Heijden
and Akkermans, 2020). Career development plans are very helpful in making the clear goals
for the future, straight path to discover the future and a full commitment to plan the activities.
For this assignment my career which is I am choosing for my career path is marketing
executive. As this is career where you can growth and make your own career path. I have the
amazing communication skills and good knowledge about the marketing structure. I evaluate
my personal analysis related to the skills and knowledge of mine in the assignment.
Furthermore, I discussed my career action plan and a CV for the relevant career path.
MAIN BODY
Personal analysis
When a person make their own personal analysis on the basis of their weakness,
strength, opportunity, knowledge, experience and strength, this is known as personal analysis.
These skills, knowledge and strength can be used for the future growth and weakness and
threats can be overcome and reduced by the practices (Durksen, Klassen and Daniels, 2017).
Here I represent my personal analysis by showing my strength, knowledge, experience and
weakness so that I can work on that skills and make my career more attractive and bright
comparing with others.
Skills: Skills are the ability which make an individual different from the others as
these skills and abilities help the person to involve in some work and complete that work
which is assigned to them (Eaton, Roberts and Turner, 2015). My skills are making me a
different person from the other, as I am the confident person which help mine to stand with
the right things and make the right decision regarding the current circumstances. Also I have
the good communication skills which help to make more friends of mine and ability to

Knowledge and experience: The knowledge and experience I have gain for the
required post in which I am interest are degree in the business management and knowledge
about the customer’s satisfaction, sales volume and many more accountancy skills which are
the additional knowledge for supporting my career plan.
Strength and weakness: As I analysis my personal career plan, it will gives me the
detail about my strength and weakness related to my nature and knowledge. Strength
includes: excellent communication skills and managing ability while working in the team. I
am energetic person for completing my work on time and also influence the other to complete
the task. Whereas my weakness include; I have a big issue and trouble to say NO to the
people which put me in trouble most of the time. Also I am impatient in nature as I am
punctual and need work on time.
Career Overview: Marketing executive is the job where all the combination includes
like, selling, marketing, planning, customers satisfaction and market mix knowledge. This
path of the career will never stop or decline, every second person are wanted to choose this
path as their career goals (Gateley, 2015). As the marketing executive is needed to every
small, medium and large scale industry and also here are the option to go high position within
the company. I wanted to become the marketing leader or manager of the any company which
ever I join for this post. They have the ability to run the business and earn the profit on the
large scale. Also they are managing most of the other department also which are related to
marketing department.
Responsibilities: for the position of the marketing executive, there are various
responsibilities which must be take care and manage by the executor in the coordination with
manager. The most important responsibility is to take the market survey on time to time and
update the other department about the need and demand of the customers and if there is any
change of preference or issues they are facing with the product and services. Also work with
the market condition, manage the competitors and analysing the market trend. For the
marketing executive it is necessary to work with the coordination and manage all the
departments (Hattie, Masters and Birch, 2015). All the information they are collected from
the market must be accurate and right as all the production and operations are depend only on
that information. Also research and development department work with them as the
information provided by them is useful for research and development department in making
the innovation and invention in the products and services they are offering to the customers.
In last, making good communication and intervention with the customers for the growth of
the company is very important as it make the strong and impressive business brand in the
market.

long yourself in future that where you want to see yourself in last five years or more than
academic life or now in professional life.

collaboration skills; marketing executive must deal with the lots of people within or outside

other easily in less time. Another skills I wanted to improve is negotiation power, in a
business you must be an economic person, always seems the profit in your every transection,
but I have a bad habit that I can’t say no to anyone which put burden on me. So these skills
are important and must be improved by me in my nature so that I can become the best
marketing executive and help my company to get the success.
For this I am thinking to join some more personality development course for three
months and after that join online business development related course for opening more
career option in my path of success. Also I can join some small company for a while to get
the experience from there and deal with the more life professional experience. Which
enhance and make attractive my CV and LinkedIn profile.
CONCLUSION
From the above repot it is concluded that, career action plan and its self-reflection is
very important for the person who want to secure their career with full of security and
enhance the way by which they can choose and select the better option for their career. By
implementing right career action plan in real life will get the right career path and high
success rate in the future. And it is important to evaluate the success and make the growing
future to know about the skills, ability, knowledge area, and your strength and weakness
which make you different from the other competitors in the market. I implement my career
action plan in my daily life so that I can achieve my desired target and goals in the future
easily without facing any issue or challenges in the career path.
