INTRODUCTION
The task of choosing a career, trying to improve one's abilities, and progressing one's
career trajectory is referred to as career development. Individual people must continue pursuing
great careers in order to grow as people. A career is about a person's future growth and
development. A proper career strategy is intended for individuals who want to advance their
careers since it supports people in selecting a career option while also highlighting knowledge
and abilities with certain benefits and drawbacks. The marketing manager in the retail industry
was chosen for this report because of his or her skills and knowledge. This report focuses on an
individual's internal analysis in relation to the marketing manager vacancy, developing a career
action plan, and creating an effective CV that includes all of an individual's professional skills
and experiences. It has been discovered that individuals must assess their personal experience
and skills in order to determine their level of competition and specific areas for advancement.
The only method of measuring and enhance such skills, understanding, and experience is to
create and implement an appropriate career action plan.
MAIN BODY
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
As per the current situation, the retail sector wishes to increase sales, and in order to do
so, they require a strong marketing manager who can undertake all advertising activities and
functions in an appropriate manner. As per the results of this study, a person is indeed very self -
assured in creating their own abilities and knowledge that are required to effectively accomplish
personal objectives. Depending on personal knowledge of the retail industry, I revealed that I can
work as a marketing executive in the same field. I'm now able to implement a strategic plan for
finding employment as a marketing manager since it is my enthusiasm and my fantasy because
I've already completed my grdguationain this field. A few qualifications needed for a retail
marketing manager were recognised in the prior section of the report, CW1. Communication
abilities, multitasking abilities, listening abilities, creative and innovative abilities, leadership
abilities, and many others have been identified.
Predicated from the above skills, this one has been ascertained that I have little or no all
of the necessary skills for which are found as essential for marketing manager. My current
strengths include excellent communication skills in order to expand my network by cultivating

positive relationships with a diverse group of people (include subordinates, colleagues,
customers, seniors and many more). However, I found that I lacked certain skills, including
creativity and innovation, leadership, and communication. I must first learn the ability listed
above in required to be deemed for the role of marketing manager. I presently possess excellent
communication, networking, and customer service skills. Because of my strong communication
skills, I am able to effectively communicate all market strategies with my colleagues. Good
communication has always been the consequence of accomplishing tasks that would be both
effective as well as efficient. in addition to this Furthermore, my communication skills will
benefit the organisation by allowing me to collaborate with other divisions of organisation which
include HR, Finance, IT, and others. I can help the organisation increase sales and generate
revenue by clearly explaining data about its products and services. Somewhere at time,
interaction was considered as the most significant factor because it was used to persuade
customers to purchase goods and services. I also have the ability to provide excellent customer
service. My strongest suit is analysing customers ’ needs and requirements for the purpose
of provide the best quality service. Another skill I have is that of a team player. Marketing efforts
and strategies are not straightforward tasks that can be completed by a single person. My ability
to collaborate with others assists the entire marketing department in carrying out marketing
activities as a group. Networking is among my strengths, as marketing executives should
demonstrate healthier and happier interactions with customers and maintaining existing
customers and attract new ones. Marketing managers must build several systems and
networks with individuals in order to persuade people to purchase a particular product or service
and receive praise. My ability to provide outstanding customer service is also one of my strong
points. In the retail sector, I am able to comprehend buyer needs and requirements and
operations. As a result, I give them the best services I can, meeting their necessities while also
keeping them. On the other hand, in order to understand the customers' expectations and
demands, I must first understand their culture and language. I need to improve my language
skills, cultural awareness, and legal and legislative knowledge. A marketing manager must deal
with a large number of people from various cultures and languages, it has been discovered. For
the same reason, they must be able to understand them. As a result, I must focus my efforts on
learning the culture and languages of people who live in a specific region.
