Introduction
Career planning is one of the important aspect for the students who are thinking for
their future and want to achieve higher than others. This report consist an analysis of future
career planning and decisions which are related to the knowledge and skills and experience in
the different field. Career future planning is helpful to plan a student career who completed
their graduation in recent time. For completing this assignment my main aim is to pursue my
career as an accountant professional. And to complete my aim I am searching a job in the
field of junior accountant in private sectors. This report further consists primary and
secondary research to know more about my filed and career trends and key skills which are
needed and expected from the graduate student (Anagnoste and et.al., 2021).

General trends
General trends for the junior accountant in the industry are very common and useful
for the growth of this profession. Accounting play an important role of any business industry
and especially in private industry as they are focus on profits. With most of the financial
crises in the recent situation like Covid, the need of the strong accounting business is very
important for the growth of the economy (THE FUTURE OF ACCOUNTING: TOP 5
TRENDS FOR 2018 AND BEYOND, 2021). Some of the trends are described below:
Cloud Accounting: Most of the business depend on the cloud for operating various
different type of business operations for storage the online data. Cloud will be very helpful
for the companies in future when all the data is recorded online. So to save the storage facility
they can use the cloud facilities. It can further remove various unwanted application on
desktop and from this they can use the protect business intellectual property right in case of
losing the physical assets. Cloud accounting is require only a verified software that can run
on servers and connectivity on the internet (Bell and Fong, 2021).
Automation: Automation is new accounting trend that can further save the
business with a great amount of time when it comes to accounting process. Automation is the
accounting process which are intended to reduce the burden of bookkeeping and various

accounting issues. Sometimes it seems threat for the companies as it would be misused by
their competitors or rivals.
Social media strategy: This is again one of the important trend on the accounting
profession as it will be helpful for the customer to provide accurate business profile on social
media platform. This would be helpful for gaining the popularity in the market and now the
owners are more active on the social media platform. It is beneficial as it has no cost on
usage, communicate millions of people at a single platforms and increased the business
exposure and visibility of the company.
Collaborative accounting: Accounting is not seeing in only software and automation
but also in the terms of collaborating with their customers and clients. It is not new but now it
is trending in order to expand their business. This seems the future of accounting and this is
done on the basis of sale, profitability and other managing devices.
Outsourcing: One of the biggest trend in the accounting procedure is outsourcing finance
and accounting services. Outsourcing accounting is one of the most important services which
are focusing on expanding the business. It access for the team of experts in accounting
procedure. Increase the scalability of business and complete a control over different business
accounts (Dennis, 2021).
Skills and knowledge required
There are various skills and knowledge which are required to make a profession for
accountant line in private sectors. Accountancy may not seem as glamorous career options as
compare to others. But this has very vast career opportunities which are described below:
Innovation: Accountancy has been an indispensable tool of business since the one
day. No project can be get off from the ground without having a tight control over the
numbers. So in order to complete the skills for the accountancy, innovation is the most
needed thing. As new candidate must think about more new innovation which are helpful for
the growth of company in market.
Understanding: With the help of Innovation, there must be some strong
understanding are required for the aspect of accounting basic standards (Kashtanova and
et.al., 2021). Assimilating with the new information and data management for meeting new
clients which are proof as the backbone of the company. There are various type of

accountancy so they should developed more information which are related to the accounting
concepts and tools.
Communication: This is an important skills which are required in any stream. A
person who are try to work in the accountancy field have strong communication skills. As
they need to convey the complex structure information in the easiest form to others. Either a
person is from external source or internal person, they have strong communication in order to
convey their messages. This is the most needed skill which are demanded by the companies
and useful for the any industry (Wallace and Wray, 2021).
Commercial awareness: This is the knowledge which a person have to be consider if
they are thinking for pursuing their future in accounting. As commercial awareness and
common sense is the most need things in the recent industry analysis. How the business
transection are getting affected with economic and social and political movements.
Commercial awareness are helpful for the candidates to secure their future in some better
way.
Credibility: Another knowledge which a person must have is credibility. What are
the main reason of doing things and how much the people are trust on your comments are
very important being an accountant. Credibility is the opportunity for the person to make a
strong career path in the private industry. This is important to increase credibility in market
so that it would improve the skills of the individual aspects (Oomen, 2021).
International experience work: While a person is able to work in international
platform or even a person have the experience for working at international platform, then it
would be very helpful for the company. It will enhance the scope and acceptability of CV and
helpful for the growth of the individual. While a person is ready to work at the international
platform then it would be helpful for the company as most of the private companies are trying

Evaluation
According to my aim and interest, I try to make my career in the junior accountant
post in private industry. To complete my aim in future in found a job advertisement which are
very effective and helpful for the growth of mine future. I completed my research in the
market and found some interesting job advertisements which are very helpful for me. Further
I conduct a primary research with many company’s human resource manager. I ask them

multiple questions which are related to my career. Then I found a best job advertisement of
the alpha chartered accountant company. They provide a chance to the fresher’s who are
interested and ready to devote some time. They are inviting some young and vibrant
candidates who are ready to work in the vibrant company of chartered certifies accountants
based in London. They provide a full time based internships for the junior trainee accountant.
They needed good communication skills in both verbal and written and a dedicated behaviour
towards the company. Furthermore they are paying good start up salary to the young
candidate. So this is somehow related to my needs and goals, helping in setting my aims in
future. This is the best start-up for the growth of the individual and more its culture are good
for the fresher’s. The responsibilities which are included by them are; a proper training
towards ACCA qualification, have to maintain the records and data which are prepare by
VAT, DISC, Accounts and managing multiple accounts data. Furthermore having knowledge
of tax file and assisting to the senior accountant. In all of their responsibilities, I found most
of the roles are easy for me to understand and applicable them in daily life. As I have good
accounting skills and knowledge which are justify and needed by the company. The salary
which they are provided is kind enough for me and completing my basic need in starting.
After that I can use that experience in many other companies and multinational companies
which are helpful for me to improve the CV for the recruiters.
