to further enhance my strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate the residents and keep the
daily flow of activities in the household run in a smooth manner. The action plan will enhance
leadership skills through attending of seminars and going through educational and skill
development courses (Badibanga and Ohlson, 2021).
Personal weakness mitigation
Both identified weaknesses in this action plan have the capacity to hamper my strategies to
become a resident home coordinator. The role of communication skills is quite imperative in
resident home coordinating as proper communication is needed to manage conflicts and service
the clients (Jerman, Pejić Bach and Aleksić, 2020). Being digitally competent is also a major
requirement for modern resident home coordinators as most of the daily routine is conducted on
smart software’s and desktops (Makhmudov, Shorakhmetov and Murodkosimov, 2020). The
identified weaknesses will be overcome with the help of undertaking public speaking, taking
online courses and building conversation habits. Lack of computer literacy will be further
mitigated using specialized courses to keep the strategy productive in the long run.
CONCLUSION
The above developed action plan went into detail regarding the objective of becoming a
residential home coordinator along with strategies to achieve the same which involved pursuing
a social work degree and gaining practical experience using internship at resident home
coordinating agencies (Albert, Boccardy and Vernet, 2019). The action plan also included
analysis of personal strengths and weaknesses and included measures to mitigate the same which
includes public speaking and undertaking courses. It has been concluded from the action plan
that in order to become a resident home coordinator, one must possess commination skills and be
digitally literate (Buckland, 2021).
