number of human resources. There is increasing demand for personnel in construction sector so
selecting the industry to work gives an individual for life without being pressurised for changing

impact construction industry or sector are as demonstrated:

Affordability: In present era, rising income reflects that people are able to make spending
on housing. In economic growth period, demand for residential or commercial houses tends to
rise. Moreover, demand for housing influences construction industry.
Population: In England, population is expected to grow more than 60 million in 2041
that is increase of 6 million. A significant factor that impacts constriction industry as it is not just
number of individuals, rather, changes in demographics. Moreover, certain social as well as
demographics factors are causing enhancement in number of households leading to influencing
construction industry.
In UK, construction sector has around 2.4 million employments that is 6.6% of all jobs.
Moreover, construction sector outputs in UK is more than £110 billion per annum as wel as
contributes around 7% of GDP.

As per the statistical data, it is analysed that number of people working within construction
industry in UK between 2010 to 2018 changed over time. In the year 2018, the sector employed
approximate to 1.43 million, which is rise in comparison to 1.17 million people in 2010 (Total

2020). At present, the construction sector is leveraging technology for making construction
management along with site operations more sustainable and efficient. The future of construction
industry has opportunity of new government spending on infrastructure. With this, people
