INTRODUCTION
Orientation is one of the most essential intervention services as it assists new learner or
student to make a better transition to education institute. Orienting for success in higher
education is the main sources that help an individual to get better employment opportunities, it
permits person to pursue a career that inspire them. It is the action or act taken by person to
orient something relative to points of compass and other particular positions. It allows to get
success and grab the best job opportunities accessible in market. The current assignment will be
based on three different topics relate to career development and employability. Furthermore, this
study will explain importance of three chosen subjects in context of above term. It will define
reflective statement.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYABILITY
Personal branding
It can be considered as self-marketing that a person utilizes to develop identical public
image that shows an individual values and entire reputation (Olausson, 2018). It is intentional &
conscious attempts conduct by a person to influence and create public perception by positioning
themselves as an authority, elevating his or her credibility and differentiating from others in
order to advance career.
Personal branding is important for career or employment development because is help to
demonstrate knowledge, competence and skills about specific field or subject in which applicant
is interested (Khedher, 2019). By demonstrating all these things individual could take better
action to develop those which he or she does not have. Furthermore, it is essential as it could lead
to multitude of chances including job interviews, speaking engagements, promotions, etc.
There are different types of tactics or tips accessible that person has been used to improve
or develop their personal branding. For example, individual should determine what he or she
want to be known for, embrace networking, ask for further suggestion and find out desire sector.
The most effective method of personal branding development is suggestion taken from experts,
as they have right knowledge and better understanding about chosen topic. By developing this
ability, candidate can promote themselves in job market successfully and effectively which is
really very important and beneficial as well in term of obtaining excellent job opportunity.

REFLECTION
As there were various types of assessment test available so I chose personality insight test.
This is because I want to get insight about my personality trait and behaviour. Moreover, I want
to know how I behave and communicate with others. Also, I need to analyse how I think, act and
feel. So, on basis of that I will improve my behaviour. In this there are 4 personality insight that
are extraversion, agreeableness, emotion, openness and conscientiousness.
By undertaking test I found that I am not highly extravert. The score obtained in it was
moderate. It means I do not get easily comfortable with others. I take much time to interact and
feel comfortable with other people. Also, I do not share thoughts and feelings with everyone.
Moreover, in agreeableness my score was moderate. So, it means that I do not make friends
easily and trust others. Also, I am highly honest and cooperative with others. But I do not easily
get agree with others. By this I got to know about how it is done. By conducting study, I learned
various research skills and knowledge. I got an overview about how overall research is been
conducted and what methods are been used in it. Also, I was able to identify different data
collection methods and sampling techniques used. Moreover, I learned how I need to
communicate and behave which will help me to understand behavior of others and felling
comfortable with them. What action I need to take and how it will be benefit me in interacting
with others. The problem which I faced was not showing empathy towards others which
hampered my performance and I did not get quickly agreed with them.
Due to this my performance was affected. So, in order to overcome this problem, I took help
of my friend who gave me some advice on how to feel comfortable with others by talking. Also,
I searched on internet about various ways on how I can trust others and become comfortable in
communicating with them without any hesitation. It will help me in my career growth and
development as I will be easily able to share feelings and opinion with others and work in team
to attain goals. This will also help me to become an extrovert by which can interact with other
and trust them.
CONCLUSION
By summing up above discussion it has been identified that a person has developed personal
branding, curriculum vitae and aptitude testing competences by following right suggestions and
considering effective tactics that provide several benefits relate to career or employability career
