2. Career development & employability

path is called as career development. It is said to be the process of self-awareness, decision-

a. Meaning of Personal Branding

experience that will be presented in front of the world. It involves the projection of an individual
to build their reputation in their field. Also, one can establish their image so that it will become
easier to build connections with different people.
b. The importance of Personal Branding for employability or career development
Personal Branding allows to reach new heights for the students and there is a direct link between
professional success and personal branding. The term is used mainly in creating the image of
people and in their careers. It is human nature they recognize people by their personal branding
and this is the method by which the individuals can make attempts to improve themselves.
Individuals will be able to create personal brand statements that incorporate their beliefs, talents,
interests, and mission. Another benefit is that due to personal branding, one can promote

themselves in front of the audience by fixing the target. As the whole process is a continuous
process and the personal brand which has been developed over time is affected by career
advancement.
c. Strategies for developing the above point
As there are various ways to enhance personal branding so that anyone can present themselves in
front of others. For instance, it can be done by creating social networking platforms to present
their interests, goals, and talents. Because the information which is provided on those platforms
is consistent with the personal brand's overall tone and communication. Another way to enhance
the development is by preparing the pitch so that the proper message can be delivered.

highlight the skills and work.
a. Meaning of CV
The word Curriculum vitae(CV) is derived from the Latin word that is “course of life” and it is
a document that explains academic and professional achievements. Also, it's being used to seek
jobs that require a specific set of skills or knowledge. A curriculum vitae is typically longer than
a resume and must comprise all of the data needed for a recruiter to confirm an applicant's skills,
knowledge, and enlightening qualifications. It helps in providing a proper summary of the skills
and experience of the candidates. CV should contain the name, education, skills, experience, and
contact information.
b. The importance of a CV for employability or career development
A CV comprises various topics that is skills, presentations, work experience, awards, personal
information, education, and many others (Wehmeyer and et.al.,2019). CV allows to create a
better impression on the recruiters and a CV allows to prove to recruiters why they're the best
candidate for the job. As the CV is the first thing recruiters see. Another benefit is that having a
good CV allows saving time for future purposes. Moreover, CVs are said to be an excellent
source for interview preparation. During the interview, companies will often refer to the CV to
learn more about a detailed ability or previous work knowledge. The individuals are required to
elaborate on various experiences as these things will be addressed on the CV (Vondracek, Lerner
and Schulenberg , 2019).

c. Strategies for developing the above point
Along with it, there are various strategies to improve the development of a CV as it is suggested
to make various CVs for different sectors as creating numerous documents for diverse areas of
the knowledge is considered to be a strategy for improving the CV (Varma and et.al.,2021).
Additionally, this strategy is more beneficial to individuals with years of specialized knowledge
because it permits them to organize and discuss things in a better manner. Powerful words must
be used in providing the additional information in CV and the objective statement must be
modified in the CV profile.
3. Assessment reflection
The tests comprises two tests that were one personal skill assessment and another one was work-
based skills. It can be concluded from the tests that I have changed in a good manner over the
years. Every assignment which was given helped me in enhancing my performance and new
ways of learning. The ultimate goal is to learn and attain the desired goals to enhance the
personal experience (McWhirter and McWha-Hermann, 2021).
It demonstrated that tests were based on the questions which comprise of various skill areas and
the activities and the questions are linked with the world of work. With the help of the test, I was
able to improve my capabilities with activity suggestions as some of my skills were seem to be
balanced while some were not (Hicks, Berg, and Roberts, 2020). As per this test, I got to know
about my pressure handling skills as I am able to handle various changes and deal with issues
that are out of my control. I work under pressure and still perform well and another I understood
from the test is that I give good amount of time to plan and focus on detailing of the tasks. Due to
that focus, I will be able to deliver high quality of work with greater energy and motivation
(Hobson, and et.al., 2022).
The test depicted that I can convince other people easily by expressing myself easily and I take
responsibility for the work done by me. Being a calm learner, I know how to work with others as
I understand and help others with various complex issues. Moreover, I got a good score in
solving problems as it is considered essential at every level of life. When interacting with various
individuals proper and active listening and communication skills are required. For further
improvement, I will be using and acquiring more technical knowledge in my chosen field. Such
knowledge will bring more opportunities in order to solve the problems. I will also practice more
useful tools while learning to develop various additional skills. Additionally, schooling, training,

or practice can help to get greater technical expertise in the chosen field. Also, I will put myself
in new situations to attract new opportunities for myself v(O’Reilly, McMahon and Parker,
2020). I was thrilled and excited as everyone on my team was so supportive of my group
learning journey. My mentors and seniors guided me through the process by holding numerous
sessions to address my questions and doubts so that I could present myself in a better manner and
have a better grasp of the job and its ways. I also received excellent feedback and guidance, such
as on how to stay structured and organized and how to verify facts from numerous sources. In
addition, through working in groups during my learning phase, I acquired crucial techniques of
learning and information that I would utilize in the future. Also, before this assignment, I was not
a disciplined learner because I did not manage my time well. I was able to identify a specific area
of weakness where I need to improve. Working in groups has challenges for me, such as a lack
of clarity and trust concerns. My problem was developing and sticking to a proper schedule, but I
realized that it would help me manage my time and other activities within the time constraints.
The construction of the schedule was not an easy process, and I discovered ways to increase
my problem-solving abilities. These abilities enable me to identify the problem before resolving
it and assessing its effectiveness. I also evaluate my role characteristic, which will aid in my
development so that I can manage myself more readily. I am more assured in myself now that I
have gained information from my learning experience and can easily work with a group of
people. Furthermore, I learned some lessons from my team by understanding how to cope with
emergencies that may arise in the team. I also realized that managing teamwork is not an easy
task, since the members were not initially united, resulting in several confrontations. When we
work in a group, we understand what it means to bring professionalism to the learning process.
This will improve your ability to compete in the actual world. In addition, I will keep myself
organized by prioritizing all of my tasks. In a team project, excellent teamwork is critical for
executing and attaining a common goal more quickly and efficiently. Every team member has
specific tasks and duties that, when combined, enable the team to work efficiently and effectively
toward a common goal. When individuals have different viewpoints that must be resolved within
the team, conflicts or differences can arise at various stages of teamwork. The key to effective
support is to draw on each team member's unique attributes to motivate them to maximize their
strengths while minimizing their flaws in a balanced manner. Through teamwork, I can clearly

define my role characteristics, learn to strengthen my strong points while avoiding team flaws,
and draw lessons and reflections on how to deal with them.
Conclusion
From the above analysis, it can be concluded that carer development is a must for all the
learners to develop their goals and abilities which will assist the learners in growing in their
lives. The essay's major purpose is to emphasize career development and the importance of
knowledge. The concept of career growth is important in both personal and professional lives. It
can be observed that without adequate professional growth, one's overall performance will not
improve to the best of one's skills.
