Introduction
The presented report is a personal development plan for the development of my career as
required. It depicts my personal skill analysis and reflection and also provides for my personal
SWOT analysis. It further provides a personal development plan with the desired goals for the
next 12 months and the actions which I shall take to achieve my goals. It also provides for the
required resources and the outcomes I expect from my oriented actions.
Personal analysis
As a student, there are certain skills which I possess as an important factor in pursuing my
career. But there are some skills which requires more training and qualification from my side in
order to get efficient in those skills and areas.
Through the personal skill audit process, I have done a sincere identification of my skills,
strength and weaknesses and the areas of development.

of the career development strategies plays a significant role in all over the success of the
company as well as the employees of the company (North and Kumta, 2018). Such strategies
help the employees to remain focused and prepared better to face any challenges with changing
in time. In this context, it is important that proper strategies are adopted so as to remain focused
and adopt the right and appropriate strategies. Career strategy assists in developing a culture of
the organisation, capabilities, and resources and assist in building the capacity making the
workforce to adopt the changes. This also supports in preparing the workforce for preparing as
per the changes takes place at the place of occupation. Effective career strategies assist in
improving the resources of the company by retaining talent and enable the flexible working
environment. For increasing the motivation among the employees, it is important to grow
capability by providing learning and training opportunities while performing a job (Ghosal, et.
al., 2015). For developing and inspiring the employees, skills of the employees are essential for
the development of the people. For successfully develops the career, it is important to adopt the
three main strategies that help in developing the career of any individual or any employees at the
place of occupations are as follows:

To convert the goals, in reality, it is important to get the proper feedback from the right people
that help out in making value addition in the development plan and achieving the desired goals.
Feedback from the right people helps in taking the right action to improve the career and taking

retention of the employees enhances the goodwill of the company. With increasing in the
employee’s retention, this gives the assurance to the organization to not employed new
employees for the company and also reduces the additional cost of training on the new
