Part1. Career Goals
When I did not have much clarity and understanding of goal I just wanted to become manager or
business manager. But after gaining the clarity, purpose, knowledge and understanding I wanted
to become Marketing Manager in a multinational company. The role of business manager is one
and the same but it differs in terms of the size of company or business. The role of business
manager supervises and led operations and employees of company. He performs several tasks to
ensure that whether productivity and efficiency is maintained or not, evaluates the performance
of employees and formulates business strategies but he cannot overlooks on each and every thing
in vast organisations and neither is he specialised in all the areas. With the expansion of
company’s or business more specific departments are setup in order to have check on every
activity and ensure that the every activity and department performs efficiently as one business
manager cannot overlook on every activity so there are professional who have expertise and
handles their department efficiently contributing in the growth of company. Marketing manager
is a person who formulates and implements marketing strategies for the company to meet its
ultimate objective. They are be responsible for the several services or products, or can be in
charge of single product, generally this will be based on ability to handle and how much an
organisation thinks you are able. Marketing managers have various responsibilities in company
such as budgets and estimates for campaigns, submitting the determined budget for approval, to
work with the advertising agency, preparing contracts related to sales and advertising, reviewing
the content of advertisements such as of digital media, print media, TV commercials etc. My
motivation to pursue this career is that I think that I am an outgoing person and have great
influence on others as well my interest towards sales. Today, retail industry companies such as
Tesco, Sainsbury, H&M etc. regularly hires people who can help them in giving innovative
solutions to boost their sales and also pays good package to its marketing managers (Kanwal,
Samalia and Singh, 2017). To become a marketing professional, I need to do Masters in Business
Administration and specialisation in Marketing will increase my career opportunities in
marketing, will help in gaining financial security and confidence with prestige. MBA marketing
professionals enjoy higher salaries, bonuses and attractive perks.

Part2. Current Reality
For my growth it is very essential to conduct my self assessment with the help of SWOT analysis
and asking questions from 5 other people who know me well and can give me apt answers
regarding me. I can then work on improving myself and make a better person and highly skilled
talent so that I can easily get a job after completing my MBA in big company with the help of
campus placement.

will also develop spirit of team work. Reading different books will help me gaining more
detailed knowledge about various topics. And when we work in practical and actual environment
we interact with lot of different individuals and learn different skills from them and people &
situations help in developing patience, it’s just that I need to develop control on my emotions.
