Personal development is a process to assess own skills and qualities through which the
aims and goals of individual can be achieved. The individual can improve themselves in
activities like building wealth, enhancing employment skills and increasing consciousness.
Personal development is important for fulfilling Maslow's hierarchy needs which consist,
Physiological Needs, Safety Needs, Social needs, Esteem needs and Self actualisation needs
(Allen et. al., 2019). Through personal development skills person can achieve personal and
career goals. Professional development is learning and developing their skills to get success in
career. For professional development individual needs training, education and certification so
that they can achieve their career goals. Personal and professional development skills helps to
manage learning and growth of individual throughout the career. In this Portfolio Career
Development plan is discussed through which individual can create path which they have to
follow for achieving goals and objectives (Atamanova et. al., 2019). The Portfolio also consist

Career Development generally means choosing a specific career develop skills and

term and long term employees goals are written which they are pertain during jobs. These goals
