Week
What did I learn / experience?
What was useful/interesting/important about that
learning experience?
How did I feel?
What was I good at?
Why?
(How do I know that?)
What was I weaker at?
Why?
(How do I know that?)
What action will I take to improve this skill/situation/experience, etc.? How
will I use what I learned? What are the benefits of this new learning to my
personal and professional development?
1
I have learned what paraphrasing and summarising mean
and how to avoid plagiarism. It was an interesting
experience.
I practised all of them and I felt
confident, it is not hard at all, it is
something that I have learnt and
implemented in my academic life.
I did not feel weak doing any of them. I will start reading books, this will help me practice more of Paraphrasing,
summarising, and avoiding plagiarism. This will help me a lot with my future
assessments.
2
This week I have learnt how to critically evaluate sources
of information and to apply paraphrasing techniques.
Also, I understood the requirements of the first formative
assessment.
I was good at paraphrasing techniques as
I learnt this when I was in secondary
school.
I felt a bit nervous about understanding the
requirements of the first formative
assessment, this is my very first one.
I will keep practising, I will also attend workshops on Academic skills, and get
books from the library to make myself more confident about this topic.
3
I have learnt how to cite correctly in SSU style and the
reflection point, academic integrity, and its impact on the
academic work.
Not sure if I was good at any, it is
something new for me, I will keep
practising.
I am not confident in any of them. I will keep practising to understand them better as this is something that I will
need in my future assessments. Look into Solent reference guide from the library
or google search.
4
I learnt about CV, understood the key sections needed
and how to produce my CV following the UK standard
format, and also identified the do’s and don’ts in a CV.
I was quite good at it, already I had a
good CV.
After the session, I upgraded my CV with
more valid information.
I did not feel weak adding information to
my CV.
By including extra information, I felt I
made my CV look better for the employers.
I felt really interested in adding more information to my CV. It looks
professional, and it will help me get a good job.
5
I did analyse reflective sample and identified the stages
of reflective models, understood how my final project is
assessed and developed self-awareness by completing
self-assessments online.
I understood all of them, it was an
interesting seminar.
I was not weak at any of them. This seminar helped me to understand how my final project is assessed and this
made me feel much confident doing it as I know where I have to work more.
6
I learned what a LinkedIn profile is, it was quite
interested to learn about it, I did not know how much can
help me in my future career.
It was easy to understand what it is about.
There is nothing complicated, once I got
into the website, I followed step by step
and I builded my profile.
I did not feel any difficulty in creating my
LinkedIn profile.
LinkedIn is something new for me, but exploring the website made me
understand better about it.
Definitely I can say that my new LinkedIn profile will help me in my future
career finding a good job.
7
This week I practiced how to use eye contact, body
language and voice in order to engage the audience in a
presentation. Also, I was trying to plan my presentation.
I was good at eye contact and body
language, is something that I use every
day.
I am not confident recording my voice. I am
planning to make quite few voice
recordings until I feel much confident.
Being confident with eye contact, body language and my voice will help me
with my presentation.
8
I learned about Power Point Design Principles by Solent,
how to evaluate the effectiveness of Power Point slides
and how to apply the PPT design principles to own
presentation slide.
I was good at discovering all about PPT,
it is very nice as I can choose different
colours or designs.
I felt confident using PPT. I will still practise using it as most of the assessments are in PPT and I must
learn to be able to use it correctly.

Answer – The results which are collected for future me are high which will help to know and analyse my
future and will help me in my career at large scale. My score made me think that I am capable of working
more effectively and appropriately. I am also feeling confident that I am able to work hard and improve my
major skills and abilities by analysing and identifying my strengths and weaknesses at large scale. My score
which was 77% which was above the passing criteria made me think that I am capable of initiating and
addressing the major key skills and was able to analyse my abilities for my future career. I got these scores
due to my performance and my abilities which I delivered at large scale. This is how effectively and in
appropriate manner I was able to analyse and identify that I am capable of many things which are helping me
to develop my career and are making me analyse the aspects and concerns which are related to how
effectively I am considering and valuing the concerns which are related to the effectiveness of my future.

allow sufficient time between recording the presentation and the submission deadline to complete
these questions.
What was the most significant way in which your portfolio of evidence contributed to the content
of your reflective presentation?
Answer – the most important way by which it contributes to the evidence as I get to learn about the new

weakness as well. With the help of swot analysis and smart goals it provides the ability to develop these
