INTRODUCTION
Career research refers to one of the major step which is able to assist the person for
gaining the opportunities just after the completion of qualifications. Career research helps the
freshers to help in finding their interest area which is turned in setting future path and goal too.
In addition to this, career research may play a vital role to finding the insight for the knowledge
and skills which can be used in the future in the effective manner. In this report it is able to cover
the personal analysis which includes the analysis of strength and weaknesses which is related
with the particular field. Skills, competencies and the knowledge which are necessary for any
individual for perform the given job in the proper manner. Career action plan development
involves the short term and long term along with experience which is required to gain the
opportunity according to the interest. By getting help form many mentor & by the self-
investigation, one can be analysed by me that I have the ability to perform the activities in retail
sector. It sector is emerging rapidly which is growing very fast which allows the person to get
high growth and also development together. It analysed about my personal interested area for
working is the retail shops or store Where I am able to use the knowledge and skills efficiently
which may leads to increase the productivity for future company. My skills and competencies are
able to help in perform the job in effective and along with efficient manner, During the career
research I get that I am having some good communicating skills which can help me to interact
with other people which could lead to make some good connection. Along with this I have
analysed that I have the ability to manage the conflict and to resolve it. Such communication and
conflict management can help me in my future company to communicate with the customer and
to resolve the conflict better by myself. It can help me out in both personally as well as
professionally (Labrague and et. al., 2020).

Personal analysis
Personal analysis is one of the important role which is used to identify the strength and
weakness of that individual. It helps to improve and grab the best opportunities in present and
future as well. It also help people in gaining the knowledge regarding the different skills which is
required to perform various activities which are related with the future job (Reisman and et. al.,
2016). Person is able to identify that where they are lacking and how to improve for the growth

& development. I am inspired to work for the retail sector and also wants to get some personal as
well as professional development with the working environment for the future organisation.
Strength: As per my personal analysis, I got to know which is related with strength in
which there is requirement to improvement. It is also analysed that I am having the better
communication skill which can help me to communicate with people or customer in retail sector
and due to having two month experience in the retail sector which will help me to gain the
opportunity in any one of the reputed organisation, in which I am able to apply knowledge along
with skills in the efficient manner. I am also having the patience level which also can help me
out in controlling my irritation or my anger which will be due to work load or due to the
customer odd behaviour (Størkersen and et. al., 2017). This can also help me out in resolving the
conflict due to having patience and good communication skill. It is also been analysed that I am
having the potential of adaptability along with the flexibility which is having the best advantage
to work in any type of workforce in easy manner. Such are my strength which can help me to get
my personal development along with the professional development.
Weaknesses: It was analysed by myself that I am not good enough in problem-solving
which is not a good sign. This can create a big problem in future in my personal as well as
professional life. So it is being important for me to get learn about the problem solving which
can be used by me in the upcoming future in resolving any type of issues. One of the problem
with me is that I am having the bad learning capacity which is one of the biggest weakness which
can create big problem in present as well as in future. Not to getting remember something can
create a many problem in my personal as well as in the professional life. Due to having such type
of weakness which can lead me to capture in the big problem it has already happened in the past
and I think this is not the last, there will be many problem in the upcoming future. Such type of
weaknesses should be either decreased or need to finished for not to get any problem due to this
(Simões and el. al., 2016).

SMART Goal The one of the major objective is to work for the retail sector, in which I may
able to use or skills and knowledge are applied in order to enhance the
personal improvement as well as the organisational improvements.

Outcome I am having the specialisation in the marketing sector which is one of the
major advantage for this sector that I am having the required qualification to
work here (Başman and et. al., 2016). I have also the experience for working
in retail sector as a trainee which can be helpful in grabbing the opportunity
for this sector. In this sector I can use my skills & knowledge which I have
achieved with my academic session about this which will be beneficial for
both the parties. As a result, I have the chance to achieve my personal as well
as professional goal.

 It is required to improve my interaction and the communication skills
in order to make proper connection with customer or people which is
highly required in such retail sector.
 I need to learn more about the time management skills which can be
helpful in managing the multiple activity in some short period of time
which can help in order to perform well which leads to meet with the
target of retail sector in the upcoming time (Ghahramani and et. al.,
2019).
 One skill which I require for me is for manageing all the things with
the leadership skill. This one is going to be use in the future when after
getting the experience, I will able to handle the team on myself.
 In order to deal with the changes in workforce, I need to be flexible for
getting well in my work without any conflict or irritation.
Long term activities
 To gain the knowledge related with the recent development in the
retail sector which are able to affect the sector either in positive aspect
or in negative aspects (Banna and et. al., 2016).
 I need to learn about the latest technology which is going to be the
advantage in the future otherwise it may lead to let me out of trend and
the latest technology.
 Analytical and the research skill are able to give me the advantage
which is in the sense of gathering some information in just few period

of time which can be beneficial for both to me and to the organisation.

capability along with its weaknesses in which they need to improve in certain area. There are
