INTRODUCTION
Career viewpoint helps in understanding what career opportunities those are available for
me to grow and expand my skills in order to achieve higher success in future professional career.
Marketing manager is responsible for promoting brand image as well as products and services to
customers so that overall sales volume and profitability of company can be enhanced. Each and
every company require marketing manager in order to generate awareness and attract more and
more individuals within organisation. So i have opportunity to expand my career in marketing
field to attained higher growth. This report is of career viewpoint that has included personal
analysis and career action plan that will contribute in improving my core skills, capabilities and
knowledge.
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
This is segment that consists of personal analysis, that is key strength and weakness of
myself so that I can make bet use of available opportunities or get employment in an reputable
organisation. In order to conduct personal analysis, I will make use of SWOT model that helps in
understanding, strength, weakness, threat and opportunities. Thus it helps in understanding, the
way I can make use of my existing strength to make optimum use of opportunities and overcome
weakness in order to reduce associated threat. Therefore, personal and SWOT analysis is as
follows:
Strength: I have good communication and interpersonal skills that helps me in effectively
communicating with range of customers in order to influence them within organisation.
Interpersonal skills also help me in building and retaining strong relationship with customers so
that they are motivated to have products and services from specify firm rather than other
competitors in market. Furthermore, I have strong command on digital technology that contribute
me in effectively making use digital technology to generate awareness among people about
existing products and services and more information about the company (Finley and Kazak,
2020). At the same time I have good time management and analytical skills that help me in
understanding taste and preferences of customers. Thereby contribute in planning strategies that
could be used to meet customer’s expectancy in limited time frame.
Weakness: As per my personal analysis, I get to know that I do not have problem solving and
decision making skills which is essential for marketing manager to perform its duties in best

and innovative idea related to the way particular task can be completed that resulted as barrier in
my future career as market manager (Teoli and An, 2019). As i am unable to decide creative idea
that could be pursue customers to be part of organisation. Therefore I am unable to decide
particular strategies that could be taken or made in order to reduce conflict or resolve problem in
effective manner for better outcome.
Opportunities: With growing trends, changes in customers preferences the demand for
marketing manager has increased in several industries because it is responsible for enhancing
sales volume of company by inducing new individuals within firm. So, it can be stated that I
have an opportunity to get a post of marketing manager in reputable organisation by making best
use of my existing strength. Moreover I have opportunity to increase my knowledge and skills to
manage people, work in team and take right decision at right time for optimum outcome.
Threat: It can be stated that I have threat pertaining to increase competition level or demand of
more and more skills, knowledge and capabilities by employers while recruiting employees in
the firm. Such as there are several individuals that have more knowledge and experience in

nature of environment also acts as threat in pursing my career in marketing field to get higher
growth and success in professional and personal career.
