INTRODUCTION
Professional career development process depicts overall training for the new knowledge and
skills in terms of enhancing the existing career opportunities in regard of entering into different
subject field. There are several professional fields that are needed to have continuous education
and professional growth in terms of working hours for maintaining their certifications or licenses
(Bixenmann and et. al., 2020). There are various types of methods by which new knowledge
skills can be learnt and developed that include proper earning for the degree of UG, in service
class that is being sponsored by the employers. Along with this, organising research, reading
journals at professional level meetings and also attending conferences. By analysing the present
report, the job profile for physiotherapist is considered. This is the type of job profile where the
person has several faceted preferences and needs that was spanned from emotional, physical,
social and spiritual factors.

Job Recruitment and selection is the procedure of analysing requirements for job profile by
defining the needs of the job holders and overall position in company. The basic purpose of job
recruitment and selection is the need to makes sure that the transparency is being maintained by
considering the hiring process that helps for the HR personnel in terms of selecting the suitable
candidate on the grounds of merit. There are several reasons by which the company needs proper
recruitment and selection that include transparency in the hiring process by paving the method
for merit basis hiring and also offer consistency in an effective manner. There is suitable
difference among recruitment and selection (Pellino, 2022). Under the head of recruitment,
where people leads to offer selection in the organization and search for suitable employees and
also motivated for the jobs in the company. It is generally a long procedure of employment that
include series of initiates, tasks with effective identification of job activity needs which ends up
with the selection of employee.
Further, selection is defined as the process in which the company analyse employees
from the pool of different job applicants with specific qualifications and competencies in order to
fill job vacancy within the company. Selection is the activity in which the precise individual is
selected and is placed at the right position. Selection includes various activities under which

references and medical and so on has been considered.
Personal reflection
Gibb’s reflective cycle leads towards the six several stages that explore the overall
experience of situation. The main concept of this model is that it leads to motivate people in
regard of thinking in the systematic manner regarding the experience which they had during the
specific situation. This model is used into several stages and also use Gibbs reflective cycle with
the objective of reflective journal which is discussed as underneath:
Description: At the time of taking the interview, my overall experience is that I need to
study in deep manner by considering the profile of Physiotherapist in an effective manner by
which I can analyse candidates in clear manner. At the time of preparing questions for the
interview I have to effectively identify that the research is being conducted in critical manner so
that I can properly test or identify the difference for every individual so that it is quite difficult
for me to be more consistent in regard of questioning every type of candidate (Sorkness and et.
al., 2020). From the viewpoint of respondent, my experience is quite not that good as I have to
prepare myself in more accurate way because I got stuck at several questions at the time giving
answers.
Feelings: I was feeling bit nervous at the time of taking interview due to this, I have
never experienced taking interview on this type of profile. My thoughts are moving in a
continuous mode by which I could properly ask question from candidates so that I prepare
myself effectively to test the candidates in significant way. I was also feeling positive at the time
of giving interview as I want to effectively make career in the respective field by which I am
quite happy and sure regarding the overall selection (Amiet and et. al., 2021). For this, my
thoughts for giving the interview is that I have to be efficient with all type of conditions due to
any other break that will create second thought in the mind set of the interviewer.
Evaluation: I have analysed that it was a great experience for me due to this, I have taken
interview for first time of this specific job role. I have also analysed that I had to prepare myself
in a manner by which I can proceed interview with full confidence and assurance and there is no
requirement of thinking of cross questioning from the particular prospect. It have analysed that
the overall strategy plan needs to be prepared for identifying the candidates from all viewpoint. It
has been analysed that at the time of giving interview which I need to prepare myself for

answering random questions by which I will not lose my confidence and will not deviate from
the plan of giving interview.
Analysis: I have evaluated that I conduct interview in a suitable way and I have followed
a suitable data format for conducting the interview due to which it went into the suitable manner.
At some point, I face issues with regard of identifying candidates in deep mode due to this, it is
quite difficult to analyse the candidates from one round of interview and this also consider to
judge the candidate on every suitable parameter. I have identified that effective analysis of job
profile is useful in selecting the suitable candidates in the company (Saenen and et. al., 2021).
While giving job interview, I evaluated that for achieving job in company on frequent basis I
have to increase my knowledge and skills about the market. I have also realized that to answer
interview questions with full confidence it is necessary to improve my weak points.
Conclusion: It has been evaluated that I have gained knowledge from this profile that it is
needed to learn in regular manner for conducting the interview in a suitable way. I have also
summarised that this type of job profile need proper experience & documentation for the cross
verification into suitable way so that no one can misdirect the job interview into negative manner
(Küttel, Storm and Henriksen, 2019). At the time of giving job interview, it has been analysed
that I have to acquire knowledge on suitable concepts which are based on applicable experiences
and are useful for further growth and development.
Action plan: I have to conduct interview for this profile again and has deal with effective
condition again, next time I will prepare myself with more questions that will be on the basis of
practical experience. At the time of giving interview for the similar job profile, I need to prepare
with more dedication for this job role and also analyse the overall position of practical
experiences so that I can gain knowledge on a frequent basis.
Therefore, it has been analysed that, Gibb’s reflective cycle is useful in regard of
identifying the overall situation from the suitable viewpoint due to this, the effective growth and
development can be done for enhancing the overall situation into positive manner. Due to this,
Gibbs’ reflective cycle is essential for identifying the situation into deep manner.
Understanding of skills and knowledge
Expertise and information both are essential for the total growth and expansion of person
and these are needed to be develop into effective way with appropriate source. For
physiotherapist summary, it is needed to have physiotherapy degree progress which is generally

need more than two level that undertake biological science or PE. This profile is also need five
GSCE passes that consider Maths, English and at least one science or equal qualification as these
are definite types of abilities which are needed for appropriate achievement in this profession
field and applied involvement also plays main role in it. Considering this profile, time
management is quite important as the functioning is built on time work framework.
Inside this profile, the effort can be completed in suitable manner with proper provision of
team associates by which it is vital for people to have team working skills so that every person
can work in coordinative manner with each other. Social abilities are also essential from the
