INTRODUCTION
Career development is long life procedure of managing learning, understanding, work
and transition in order to move towards a personally and professional determined and evolving
preferred further. It can be said that career development help an individual to reach at their
personal and professional aims. The current assignment will be based on three different topics
that relate to development of career or employability. It will explain strategies for development
of career in effective manner.
MAIN BODY
Career development and employability
Topic 1-
Personal branding is planned and conscious attempts to develop and influence public
perception of candidate by positioning them as an authority in his or her sector, elevating their
credibility, and differentiate themselves from others, to successful advance their career, and
increase circle of affect (Gorbatov, Khapova and Lysova, 2018). Personal branding procedure
includes finding individual uniqueness and effectiveness as well as building a reputations on
activities person want to be known for and then permitting them to be known for them.
Personal branding is actually essential for development of employability or career,
because it is helps to define a person strongest attributes and sell them to firms in which they are
highly interested to work for making better career. It entails capturing and marketing an
applicant’s strengths as well as uniqueness to a target people.
For career or personal development a person can identify their skills in which person’s
not able to use. Applicant can take suggestions from other like family member, friends and take
special class for making professional or personal career more effective. The main thing
individual can do it that they can set and communicate clear aims, which is really very important
(Li and et.al., 2017).
Topic 2-
Curriculum Vitae, referred to as CV which comprised of detailed information about a
person. It is also considered as brief account of an individual education, previous experienced
qualification and typically sent with a job application. It is a comprehensive document that lists
his or her qualifications for academic employment. It helps job applicant or candidate to show
case their abilities and professional accomplishments.

CV is important in career development as it help candidate to represent their skill,
abilities and knowledge in front of employer of a company. It aid person to sell their talent and
shows them to right person for job. It aids to make a good impression on employer and allow
them to choose applicant for specific role within workplace.
It is really very essential for an person to make their CV more effective, they need to
consider all elements effectively and methods to make it better than before. Appropriate CV will
help an educated person to show their qualities and abilities in front of recruiters.
Topic 3-
Networking & Professional Mannerisms is the trait which employees of an organization
must have. This is going to make the organization have a smooth functioning and a healthy
environment for the workforce overall which is a great factor for the businesses in the market.
There are a lot of frameworks which are present in the market so that this factor in the
organization can be analyzed and maintained for a long run in the market. There is a standard of
behaviour for good communication in a workplace which can be used for this trait to be handled
effectively in the market (Paul, 2017). There has to be a good body language which is required
so that there is going to be a reputation and a standard which is going to be present in the market
so that the company will be able to have higher reputation and brand image. The businesses in
the market want to have a large market share and high profitability and this framework and trait
is going to not just get in professionalism but also a brand image for the company in this
competitive market.
Assessment reflection
I would like to choose specific assessment or topic as part of reflection and that is
motivation at workplace. Motivation is one of the most important and beneficial element that
help to enhance performance level and morale of staff in effective manner. I can say that
motivation can effectively reduce stress level in work area where number of applicant are
working together for accomplishing given tasks or day to day activities in systematic manner. IN
respect of outcomes, recognition and performance appraisal can help to motivate and encourage
workers to work even better. I will utilize given outcomes of motivation topic for my career
development as well as at workplace by considering ways and methods that has been discussed. I
would enhance my skills and abilities by identifying my weaknesses and threats and taking class
as well. I can analyse that it is really very good when manager or leader respond positively in

according to my interest. I will use tips and suggestions related to motivation part and implement
in my career development which makes me able to work effectively.
CONCLUSION
This report has projected all the tools that support the individual in the overall personal
and professional development in professional career. Networking is the tool that support in
interacting and allowing knowing what are the potential opportunities professional carry in his
professional life that can expand the overall growth opportunities. Professional mannerism
support an individual in getting aware with all the positive changes in attitude of an individual
that can allow the professional to create a positive impression in front of other professionals and
individuals.
