a) Introduction:
My second CDR project focuses completely on my work expertise and skills. At Saudi
Oger Limited, Riyadh I worked as the Electrical Engineer on a roadway project. The
proposed project commenced in the month of February 2010 and I concluded all the
project activities in the month of July 2013. I completed all my project activities with
accordance to the company’s policies, standards and approaches.

b) Background:
CE2.2 According to the report, the project is expected to finish housing facilities in
Princess Noura University (PNU) which comprise of 400 villas for the higher
ranking staff.
CE2.3 The electrical architectural design of housing facilities at three unique areas in
Riyadh has been presented in this project. The project plan involves the review of
drawings of
a) Public Address System
b) LAN System.
c) Lighting and Power Layout.
d) Fire Alarm system.
e) Telephone System.
f) CCTV System.
I educated my juniors al the project activities including design, develop, and basic
establishment of all the electrical components
To effectively finish it, I fulfilled these key strides:
1) Detailed analysis of all the electric design, layouts and development of the
buildings
2) Detailed Analysis electric design layout, development and management of all the
relevant electric components.

3) Monitored each and every activity and assistance of all the electrical frameworks
and equipment and system.
4) Analyse the use of electric consumption.
5) Composing every single technical detail in a project report.
CE2.4 I did all my responsibilities as the main agent of the project. I had to plan the
project chores and monitor all the necessary electrical activities on the site. I
monitored and administered all the operational electric tasks that need to be done
and the procedures by which the plan will be executed. I assured that all the
relevant tasks related to electrical framework systems and electric equipments must
be executed within speculated time and the budget assigned.
CE2.5 I processed appropriately according to the organisations’ policies and sent all
daily reports and workings to my seniors. I took advice from them, also took help
from them. I performed all my duties with full responsibility. I monitored the
location where the electric equipments were installed and helped as per my
knowledge and skills. I helped my juniors there and also monitored whether they
worked as per the organisations policies and standards.
CE2.6 My project duties comprised of the following statements:
a) I made building drawings, set rules and regulations relevant to electric power
utilization and the electric supplies.
b) I was responsible for detailing the designed electrical plans relevant to the
organization’s management and the on-site workers
c) I worked for hand in hand with the project team to set up the electric circuits
and systems
d) I tested the whole electric design system after set up with the proposed
guidelines set before
e) I composed a technical report upon completion of the project with every minute
and critical details
f) I ensured that the whole project set up must be completed as per my superiors’
demands and within the given deadline.
g) I followed each and every word of my superiors and executed the project; I
made the design model as proposed with intensive learning outcome.
c) Personal Workplace Activity
CE2.7 I began my work accumulating all the data and later I finished load estimation
of the electric equipment utilised during the construction of the buildings. I utilized
all my theoretical as well as the practical knowledge for analyzing the electrical
equipment. I additionally computed load calculation values, circuit calculations and
voltage drop over the circuits. I audit GI passage, all control sectors with cable tray,
and I also did numerous mathematical calculations.

I utilized my electrical ideas to outline and calculate lighting lux required for the
project. I directed establishment, testing and authorizing of low current frameworks
which include Access Control, Fire Alarm, CCTV, AV System, PA with Voice
Evacuation Central Battery.
I tested 11KV SWG: VTs contact resistance, CB timing and CTs. I checked
elaborations of high voltage test and electrical activities and mechanical test. I
always stay connected with my subordinates to check their workflow and ensured
that they would finish the task within stipulated deadline.
I held system voltages inside reasonable boundaries under any faulty conditions and
verified that the insulation breakdown voltages did not surpass. I was in charge of
giving an equipotential stage to conduct operations on the electrical instruments.

 I utilised TT earthing to avoid higher power factor, any faulty conditions and to
protect earth wires.
 I calculated several key mathematical values to compute the project.
 I prepared a project report based on the mathematical calculations and conduct
all the activities related to electrical equipments and systems.
 I evaluated all the activities in the agreement papers and reports and entirely
took after details of the project earlier in every one of the exercises.
 I frequently went to specialized meetings to examine project activities.
 I was in charge of reviewing and endorsing Contractor's change demand and
variety with the goal that authenticity and extent could be affirmed.

conduct the project activities.

CE1.10 I investigated the present establishment and probability related to electrical
knowledge skills and furthermore surveyed the future upcoming prospects. The
entire project was not in anyway a simple task and I confronted a few challenges as
well while executing this project. To begin with, the first challenge I faced was
finding substitutes for existing circuit breakers since precipitators supplied board
having three areas of rectifiers outfitted in three 1000 Amperes (A) circuit breakers.
I utilised all my knowledge, skills and expertise to design, develop and execute all
the activities. I considered all the threats and risks associated with the project
activities before and after that I provided solutions to mitigate all the threats and
the risks.
CE2.11 I utilized my working experience and past learning expertise in this project.
I searched a few web assets to consider more about SIR and high-frequency
transformer rectifier. I utilized my mastery of electrical building for computing load
and contemporary security. I prepared a record and a Power Point slides for the
effective finishing of the project activities.
CE2.12 I knew beneficial of cooperation and hence I always stay connected with the
team members. I tuned into my bosses for recommendations and taught juniors the
project activities.
d) Summary
CE2.13 I got a scope to upgrade my capacities with a change in the project and to
enrich my engineering knowledge and skills in project activities. The project assists
me in embellishing my communication skills; it helps me to learn to work as a team
and also helps me to learn to finish tasks within the deadline and also within a
stipulated budget.
