Elements of IKIGAI framework
The current workplace and career decisions revolves around the generation of
employability, project management, decision making and problem solving skills. The career
decisions of the employees depends on the skills and expertise, which they have gained
during the high school years (Crane et al., 2019). I think problem solving skills are very much
effective for enhancing the decision making skills. In this context, I can mention about the
IKIGAI framework, which caters to the difference between one’s desires and the expectations
of the world. Important questions of this framework are: What one loves? ; What the world
needs; What one pays for; what one is good at. I am also good at social skills, which helps me
to mix with people from different culture. I am passionate towards improving the
communication skills, which indicates the intention towards creating a good image in the
minds of the foreign delegates.
Attempting to answer these questions, I can say that I love to work on projects, which
involves interacting with new people. This process helps me to learn about new cultures,
enhancing my knowledge and expertise. According to my observation, the world needs
productive youths, who can contribute into the economic growth and development. One pays
for the actions, which is committed for fulfilling the identified goals and objectives (Trevino
& Nelson, 2016). I think I am good at exposing hard work, which helps me to undertake
challenging and enduring tasks. This initiative helps me to move beyond my comfort zone,
expanding the scope and arena of my thinking skills and judgmental capabilities. Moving
beyond the comfort zone helps me expanding the scope and arena of the capabilities and
competencies.
Cultural values of the leading companies
I have learnt that most important cultural values of Woolworths are honesty, integrity,
accountability, which enhances the stability in the relationship with the clients and the

customers. Continuous improvement strategies are used for detecting the ways in which
services can be improved for gaining trust, loyalty and dependence from the stakeholders and
shareholders. In the operations, I have found that fairness prevails, which reflects compliance
with the standards and protocols of the ethical code of conduct. Along with this, Fair working
Ombudsman is followed, which helps Woolworths in averting the illegal instances
(Woolworthsgroup.com.au, 2020). I think this fairness and transparency is appropriate in
terms of luring more clients and customers towards investing in the services. The services of
Woolworths is customer oriented, which adds value to the corporate social responsibility. I
have gained information about collaboration, which helps the staffs to avoid conflicts,
discriminations and harassments.
Inclusive working practices enhance the cultural diversity of Coles. The stakeholders
and shareholders are inspired to value the diversity elements, which improves the stability
and adjustment skills, indicative of a congenial working environment (Colesgroup.com.au,
2020). I have researched that leadership and culture are the keystones for Coles in terms of
ensuring the wellbeing of the clients and customers. The team members are inspired to work
with great cooperation, enhancing the unity and coordination. Community development is a
part and parcel of the Coles’ business. Typical evidence of this lies in involving the
community of Torres Strait islander into the mainstream business activities.
Current reasons for motivation towards work
I think workplace culture is an aspect, which reflects the strategy towards serving the
clients and the customers. The employees belong to different socio-cultural backgrounds,
which indicates diversification at workplace. The values of honesty, integrity, accountability
and fairness represents the ley attributes, which are needed in terms of maintaining the
workplace decorum, order and harmony (Reiter, 2018). According to me, inclusive working
practices motivates me the most in terms of performing the projects in an efficient and

effective manner. This is because of the interactions with lots of people, who contribute in the
enhancement of my learning skills, competencies and abilities.
I love to interact with people from different cultures, which is important in terms of
approaching the projects of development from different perspectives. The actions, which I
plan to commit for fulfilling the goals make me repay the seeds, which I reaped at the initial
stages of my practical application of the learnt skills. I am good at hardwork, which enhances
my confidence towards performing the challenging and enduring tasks. From these, I can
pick out two aspects, which revolves around my desires and expectations with that of the
reality in terms of the expectations of the world. The difference between these parameters
relates to the demarcation between the reality and the expectations, which persist in my
approach towards gaining personal and professional development (Kono et al., 2019).
In the workplace, the managers are the main source of motivation for me. Their
approachability enhances when they take extra initiatives to train me, so that the scope and
arena of my knowledge horizons can expand. Trainings reflects one of the parameters, where
we get to interact directly with the seniors. Transfer of the essential skills from the managers
to the employees results in the enhancement of my preconceived skills, abilities, knowledge
and expertise (Hikmawan et al., 2019). Along with this, I also think that it is the creation of a
safe and congenial working environment, which assures us about exposing our talents.
Inspiration, guidance and support from the managers generates an urge within me to expose
better performance. I think inspiration for conducting self-awareness is effective form of
motivation, which enhances the approachability of the managers in terms of leaders,
motivating the employees towards their professional establishment.
Usage of attributes of adaptiveness in the workplace
Career paths are important in terms of envisioning clear goals for achieving success.
I have also learnt that the working for myself helps in identifying the key strengths, abilities

and competencies. External information search diversified my knowledge regarding the wide
ranging issues and subject (Anderson et al., 2018). In this process, I have gained interest in
the aspect of workplace culture. Along with this, other aspects, which I have learnt are
adaptive organizations and Employee Experience Index. One of the ways in which I can
promote adaptiveness in the workplace is through response to the changes. This approach of
mine would reflect my versatility towards adjusting in any kind of situation. Along with this,
I can indulge in group discussions and projects with the other colleagues and team members,
which would enhance my adjustment skills and competencies. These group discussions
would enhance the diversity in the workplace, which would be effective for me to promote
the diversity values. These promotion contradicts the instances of conflicts, discrimination
and harassments, which enhances the integrity and sanctity of the workplace culture (Kono et
al., 2019).
I also need to remember that I would pay for the actions committed. Therefore, if I
commit bad actions, I would be held accountable for it, making me liable for punishments.
Here, I can mention about the ethical code of conduct, which would be crucial for me to avert
the illegal instances and scandals. Respecting the viewpoints of others would help me to earn
respect in return from the clients and customers. Innovation is the key towards change,
therefore, I also need to maintain the pace with the change for aligning my performance with
the current trends. Capablity in this regards would enhance my adaptability skills. Adopting
new business models would help me to achieve justification for each of the committed
actions. I also need to conduct evaluation, which would help me to detect the areas in which I
need to make modifications for altering the standards and quality of my performance.
Approaching the seniors for help would enhance the stability in the professional
relationships.

Career enhancement plans are also necessary for me to secure my professional life.
Within this, I can mention about the collaboration, which would help me to diversity my
knowledge horizons. Interviews with the community members would be effective for gaining
an insight into their approaches towards workplace culture, which can be effective for me to
make relevant action plans for their development. Self-motivation is also important in terms
of enhancing the personality in terms of personal development (Reiter, 2018). The major
means for this is empowerment. Dominance prevails in the operations, which relates to the
authoritative leadership styles. I think this is not appropriate in terms of providing the
platform to the employess in terms of voicing out their opinions regarding the organizational
issues. Working initiatives are to be tracked and monitored through the Indexes related to the
employee engagement. This is in terms of detecting the extent to which we contribute
towards the organization.
If the motivation is directed towards self-organizational skills then it would be
beneficial in terms of securing and organizing the life (Trevino & Nelson, 2016). I also think
that project management skills are necessary in terms of enhancing the knowledge regarding
the essential business issues. Training are crucial in terms of assessing the competencies in
terms of making practical application of the theoretical insights into actions. This is
appropriate in terms of gaining justifications for the propositions.
