INTRODUCTION
• Finance is the subject matter which deals with the management of the money
particularly of government as well as of any large company.
• It involves all the financial activities mainly of banking, money and investments and
accessing the required funds.

1.DESCRIBING FINANCE AS PROFESSIONAL
FIELD-
• Finance is the field which deals with the financial
management, study of money and investments. Finance is
categorized into three types-
• Public finance- It deals with the study of engagement of
government in the economy.. Public revenue, public debt,
public expenditure, financial administration, and public
budgeting are the main parts of the public finance.
• Corporate finance- It deals with how a corporation accesses
the funds from the funding sources.

2. CARRER PATH IN FINANCE FIELD-
• As I want to do MBA in finance field. MBA in finance is the
most specialized career of MBA. It is the most oldest
management courses since this course has been started.
• In this course, the students are given the analytical skills and
knowledge, maintaining balance between profitability and
risk, centralized nature.
• This field enhances the knowledge of financial skills, this field
in MBA gives scope in industries like corporate sector, banking,
investment services, etc.

CAREER PATH TO INVESTOR RELATIONS
OFFICER:
• Before becoming Investor Relations Officer, I will have to complete MBA in finance and
have to gain minimum 2 years of experience in the field of public relations and
accounting. I have to work as an relationship officer in banks to gain knowledge of this.
The role of this officer is to maintain good relations between investors or any
institutional investors and the company. As it is related of maintaining relations with
investors, this means that job role mainly consist of public relations.

3.STRENGTHS LINKED WITH MY CAREER
PATH-
• Communication Skills- As I have good communication skills, It will help
me to communicate better with the investors. Good communication skills is
the ability used while conveying some information or listening information
of the people. It helps us to understand things of the people in a better way.
It includes listening, speaking, and observing.
• Handle Stress- Working in financial department is very difficult as this
department employees have to work for long hours.

4.CHALLENGES FOR INVESTOR RELATIONS
OFFICER AND HOW I CAN OVERCOME THEM-
• Eagerness of stakeholder- Increasing role of companies has increased the eagerness of shareholders
to know the full information about the company to which they want to invest like operations of the
company, ensures whether the company is working sustainably in the market.
• Increasing Technology- The technology is rapidly changing so to learn and apply the new
technology has become very difficult and challenge for the Investor Relations Officer's.
