INTRODUCTION
Career Pathways are found to be an integrated collection of services and programs
which are mainly focusing on developing students' core technical, academic and
employability skills (McCloskey and et.al., 2019). This is the report of my project which aims
to identify the career pathway concept with creative/artificialism. In my project, it will
discuss how I will be develop career pathway concept and their specialism. In my project
report, the career pathway is hospitality and the concept is photography. The creative/art
specialism which I selected is food photography. It is very important for me to create a mind
map in order to achieve the goals and objectives. So that’s why I will include many important
elements such are creation of mind map.
MAIN BODY
Create a mind map
Creating a mind map is very helpful in order to identifying the specialism area in
which an individual wants to develop their core activities (Most and et.al., 2018). Some steps
are mentioned below that helps to create a mind map:
 In order to start creating of mind map, it is important that topics should be placed in
the middle of the drawing. There is a mind map for the identification of the area in
which an individual wants to get specialism.
 The second step is to come up with 3 to 5 main ideas which should be placed in a
circulation form. Photography in hospitality can be possible in many cases such as
food photography, room photography, nice places photography, etc.
 After finding 3 to 4 main ideas, it is important to draw a line from the mind map topic
to each main idea.
 After that, it is necessary to start brainstorming with each main idea that should
include details such as tasks, questions and ideas. It is really helpful to find out the
main core area in which a person wants to get specialisation as it evaluates each area
and try to attach with that area.
 Draw lines for supporting details by connecting each main idea. After finishing this
draft, it is important to the created a related task.

The images that are mentioned in mood board are the part of secondary research.
From the above mind map and mood board, there are some research which are found that can
be understand with the help of below annotations:
 Annotation 1: Food photography is a passion and it can be seen in the pictures which I
feel about them.
 Annotation 2: In the pictures of food, it is identified that all pictures are really very
beautiful and it is able to attract the people easily.
Step 5 Create a final mind map
In order to create a final mind map, it is very important for an individual to place
creative art specialism in centre and then start writing. Food photography is the creative/art
specialism in which an individual needs to collect all the knowledge of ingredients and other
related products (Tiankaew, Chunpongthong and Mettanant, 2018). It helps to give comment
on a photography which is really very important.
Step 6 Research (Primary and secondary)
From the secondary research, there is one food photographer which is found to be an
award winner. The name of one photographer is Kimberly Espinel food photography for a
full-time career. She is the award winning food photographer, educator, blogger, and stylish.
She started their journey from 5 years ago and fairly good progression is steaming is found. It
is identified that she has a generous and warm teaching style. She is found to be the author of
creative food photography which is the best-selling book in food styling. She also holds
workshops in teaches for creativity and styling in food photography.

Step 7 Final mood board
There are some pictures of Kimberly Espinel's food photography which are really
very helpful in order to take more and more ideas on the creative specialism. Some important

It is the project and client work of Waitrose at Christmas. It is a cake which is
presented like a snow, iced and cold stones. It is a picture that shows how much a beautiful
and tasty cake.

This picture is showing a beauty and taste of the dish as it click the very beautifully
which shows the passion of the photographer.

It is a picture which includes pink colour with some garnishing of green leaves which
is really very beautiful. It is actually a perfect combination of two colours which looks like
tasty in the picture.

Step 9 Statement on intent
After making a final design, it is analyse that an individual needs to understand the
importance of food photography as it is a good career pathway and for that purpose, some
important skills which are required to develop by an individual. It is really very important to
understand the concept and then find art specialism in which an individual wants to become
perfect so that they can do their best (Stables and et.al., 2021). The secondary research is used
in this final design as it provides many knowledge to an individual that how the picture
should be taken.

It can be evaluated from the above discussion of mind map and mood map that both
are very important for developing ideas. Mind map and mood board are really very helpful in
order to develop ideas as it shows many new ways that taken by any other individual which
inspires other person to do something creative. According to me, there is no single one part of
this project is found to be not work well because I gave my all efforts. Research and
investigation is very helpful in order to get final design outcome because it provides me many
knowledge which a photographer used when they click a picture of food items. It was shows
me that how and what angle should be taken during the picture.

CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the above discussion that career pathway is very important
for every individual but for that purpose they need to make a mind map so that they can be
able to achieve their goals and objectives in an effective way. This report included all the
important steps which provide a clear overview that how an individual makeup final design
of career pathway.
