Summary
There are various kinds of introductory activities that can be used for preparing oneself
for work. Some of the main types of initial activities that helped me in preparing myself for work
are: WIX website designing, creating LinkedIn for connecting with others, writing CV,
completion of IBM form, researching about employer of one’s own choice, complete skill audit
form, presentation, face to face interview etc. Each of these activities have helped in preparing
oneself for work in an appropriate manner. Each of these initial activities worked in different
ways and helped me in preparing myself to become business ready and ready for work. Creation
of LinkedIn account directly helped me in developing professional network which is extremely
useful in preparing myself in searching for job and becoming ready for work within a business
organization. Designing a WIX website directly helped me in preparing myself for designing
website for different purposes upon WIX so that in future while working designing of website
work or task is clearly learnt and understood in an appropriate and effective manner. Writing
tailored CV was another important initial activity that directly helped me in gaining
understanding of ways in which one’s own qualities, features, skills, educations are displayed
upon CV that can directly help in being selected as one of the main selected candidates for
desired work role. It can further help in getting ready for work by understanding factors upon
which one need to work and enhance.
Completion of IBM application further helped me in preparing myself for work in
different way. This application form helped me in identifying skills, knowledge and qualification
which is required to be present within a person for desired job. This further helped me in
understanding improvement in skills and knowledge that are required to be brought so that I can
make myself qualified enough for given job detail. Talking of an employer of my choice was
another one of the most important initial activity that directly helped me in understanding skills
that are extremely important to be present within a person. Qualities that are looked for by
employers within candidates that make them desirable for a job role was also understood with
the help of this interview or talking with desired person. Other than this, completion of skill audit
form further helped me in understanding different type of skills required and skills in which
improvement is required to be made. Attending face to face interviews was another kind of initial
activity that was attended by me for different job role and it helped me in identifying qualities
that are searched for by most of the organizations. Other than this, another important initial

activity was pitch presentation. This activity was an important activity that helped me in
preparing myself for work within an organization as it directly helped me in bringing
improvement within by presenting skills, oral skills, public speaking skills etc.
Social media is a collective term that is used for applications and websites that focuses on
interaction, collaboration content sharing and communication. It helps people in staying
connected with friends, family and other communities (Jacobson, 2020). When it comes to
business, it helps an individual in developing their own website. That is it important to be on
various social media sites so that more people can see it. There are different benefit of different
social media sites. Social media networking has provided an environment where pre- established
relationships can be maintained which helps in building a personal website. That is people form
all over the world are connected which helps in creating a social community where one can
promote themselves. For example; Facebook will allow users to know you more intimately
through your status updates, messages and so on (Kalia and et.al., 2017). Also, it will help in
providing other useful information to the users, and make them engage with you more. On the
other hand, application like LinkedIn provides an ability to showcase expertise, profile and
recommendations. It provides an intelligent insight and is much more than just job searching. It
helps me in joining groups and network with key personalities and helps me in promoting my
skills and ability in front of these influencers.

With the completion of the skill audit questionnaire, I can analyse that I have good
communication skills that will help me effective communication with my clients and team
members. Also, with my good leadership skills, I will be able to motivate and guide my team
members to enhance their productivity and result in growth of the company. This will also result
in completion of work at appropriate time. However, it can also be evaluated that I need to
develop and improve various skills such as my analytical and decision making skills which are
crucial for an individual.
Walking into a job interview without being prepared can hurt chances of being hired by
the organization. That is it is important to know key details about the organization (May and
Lewis, 2020). Because interviewer not only evaluated the interviewee on the base of their
education and skill but evaluates on how well they have research about the company and its
history. So with the additional research about the company helped me in preparing my
documentation in a way that identified the current requirements and the skills I possessed for
fulfilling these requirements. Also, it provided me with invaluable information about the
company, its clients and industry. This helped me boost my confidence at time of interview and
increased my comfort of level while being interviewed.

The interview with interviewer in company has further motivated to improve my current skills
significantly and generate proper analysis of productive strengths and skills. I have also found
that I need to further gain specific training and mentoring from supervisors, for strengthened
functional growth and generate optimum specific efficacy. Furthermore, by improvising my
strengths further, I aim to evolve new practical parameters worked on for effective new work
goals within extended career heights and also further enhance overall working goals rapidly in
new position. My degree in studies have further motivated me to further generate optimum new

significantly. The interview has further evolved rise on extended business factors for determining

be also analysed that current requirements, have been significantly evolved for determining new
