Introduction
To make career bright, graduation period plays a specific role where working on
number of assignments, group projects and more, provide opportunity to gain
employment and academic skills (Godlonton, 2020). Under the present project, I am
going to reveal some resources that I have used for enhancing my employment
knowledge and abilities. In addition to this, a discussion is made over one of the ideal
job, role description and person specification with resources for facilitating the same.

During academic, I have decided to work on general management position in a
firm, because this job is looking quite interested where a person handles overall daily
routine activities (Miller, 2020). A number of roles and responsibilities are performed
such as improvement in business functions, managing training functions, budgets,
development of strategic plans, creation of policies etc. So, taking this job as an ideal
one, I have concerned more on developing skills, knowledge and abilities that are
required for holding it. As job role is varied as per company to company, therefore, after
graduation, I would like to work in retail firm mainly. This is because, working in such a
field help in enhancing better communication, interpersonal skills, abilities to understand
customer requirement and more (Son-Turan, 2020). Along with this, general manager
also concerns on monitoring performance of other departments, which aid them to
acknowledge themselves from different roles and responsibilities also. It includes store
management, CRM, HRM, marketing and so on. Thus, if I got job on this position, will
help me to developing a wide variety of skills and abilities, which further aid to enhance
career more bright.
