INTRODUCTION
Career is a job that is done by the individuals in their lives. To plan for the career is one
important thing as it is the thing that remains with the one throughout the life. Career planning is
the process of knowing how the skills, values, interests and talents of the individuals translate
into the possible careers or jobs. It is the matching of personal skills to the careers and jobs for
example, the matching of the career goals with the educational needs or matching of the career
goals with the financial needs. This helps in identifying a professional path which suits the
interest area, goals and personality of an individual. It also encompasses exploration of the
various career options, taking a self-evaluation test for checking the abilities and area of interest
and to find the appropriate ways on getting on track. Having a career path also keeps the one
motivated and gives power to deal with all the twists that comes along the way. It can be done by
first: knowing the self very well by analysing the all over weakness and the strengths, secondly:
by exploring the options that are available, third: finding the area of suitability and identifying
where the person actually belongs, fourth: by making a decision of which field would be the
right field and lastly fifth: taking the appropriate action in order to reach the new heights and
achieve the desired goals in life. Here this report will illustrate importance of CV, a short note on
organization, detailed CV, reflection of the skills gaps and lastly, action plan for developing the
skills.

much more detailed. Here both of them are presented because to get into a company a short idea

SECTION B
1. Personal statement to support the application for a work experience placement in KPMG
Human resource executive have the role and responsibility to manage the tasks that
involves the benefits, compensations and motivation for the employee and staff members of the
company. I always wanted to become an HR professional in my career where I studied the
courses of the HR management and effectively adopt the knowledge in effective manner (Islam
and et.al., 2021). I believe that I am having all the key skills and abilities which are required for
the HR executive which allows me to put my efforts and knowledge within the workplace in
order to achieve the set goals and targets. In general, HR professions have different kinds of roles
and responsibilities which is important for the betterment of the company and services they need
to deliver to an individual employee to feel comfortable and satisfied within the workplace. The
role of HR executive is to ensure the organization needs and desires to be fulfilled in successful
manner from where the employees working over there also can retain themselves for longer
duration. However, I believe that I am excellent at my communication skill which is the key skill
which has to be identified in HR career. Human resource executives has the duty to interact with
the employees and staff members in such a way from which they can feel good and satisfied
while communicating with them where they will be able to easily share their issues and problems
in effective way.
It is important for me to communicate well with the employee which will lead them to get
the satisfied outcome from me and can retain themselves within the company for longer period
(Gigauri, 2020). I have also done a certified course of communication which helps me to
communicate and interact with the audience in effective manner and can create a positive and
good environment by my communicative behaviour. Moreover, I want to share that I am
expertised in solving the problems in effective way which really helps me a lot to get the better
recognition at any place and creates an impressive image. In my previous job, I had well-
performed my duties and responsibilities where I also learned a lot from my seniors which allow
me to improve my self in day to day professional life. Problem-solving skills and abilities is one
of the important factor in the role-play of an HR executive where I am quite good and expertised
in solving the issues of the people (Currie, Spyridonidis and Oborn, 2020). Being an HR

professional at the KPMG firm will lead me to solve the problems of the employees in effective
and quick manner from where they can get the satisfied results and outcomes as well. Along with
this, I am also capable to motive the employees at the workplace and can create a good and
positive working environment which help and support the firm to hold the employees in definite
manner and results to deliver the projects in productive way.
Motivating the employee is significant from where only the employee of the company
can feel satisfied and can put their best efforts in working areas and can perform the tasks
accordingly and allow them to feel a valued person of the firm as well (Stone, Cox and Gavin,
2020). Human resource executive is not having only duty to focus on the business goals whereas
they have responsibilities towards an individual employee as well for helping and supporting
them at the workplace which creates better results and outcome for the business enterprise.
Furthermore, I have proficient knowledge in hiring, selecting and retaining the employees
at the workplace in effective manner from where people working within the organization will get
the satisfied outcomes and get the benefits which will hold them within the firm. For hiring and
selecting the new candidates, I am having brilliant ideas and methods as well which will support
the business to get the knowledgeable employees where it will deliver the profitable results.
Therefore, I believe that from my experience, I have collected and improved my skills and
knowledge which definitely helps me to perform well at the company and drives the organization
to grow and develop at successful level (Ahmad and et.al., 2021). For the feedback process from
the employees, a feedback tool can be used to understand the areas of improvements from where
being an HR executive I can be able to identify the errors and weak areas which can be definitely
resolved by me as soon as possible which satisfy the staff and employees in effective manner.
