INTRODUCTION
Sustainability can be described as ability of a company to meet needs of their
organisation without creating impact over ability of them to meet needs of future generation
(Fletcher, Warren and Hernández-Gantes, 2018). There are different types of resources required
by business in order to meet needs of business including economic resources, environmental
resources and social resources. Sustainability is not limited to environmentalism instead it is also
including economic development, social equity and other things. This project report includes
description of different types of issues and challenges faced by company. It explains needs codes
of conduct that assist company for resolving issues. It consist discussion of supporting and
guidance available from different relevant professional bodies.
TASK
Different issues occur in business in context of sustainability that create impact over
business. These issues includes actions of government, optimum utilisation of resources, lack of
professionalism, organisational policy and other things. It is important for managers of company
to identify these issues in company and also helps them to overcome of these issues (Chang and
Daly, 2019). There are different types of regulation impose by government on company which
cannot be followed by company. Also, there are policy of company that allow a company to be
sustainable to a extent as aim of company is towards earning more profit. There are some other
issues faced by company like optimum utilisation. It is essential for business to adopt this
practice in their business in order to protect natural resources. It is important for company to
overcome of these issues with development of different types of strategies and practices. For
example, Managers of Next Plc needs to adopt sustainability practices with development of
Unique selling point. It is an organisation which is focusing on long term benefit with overcome
of issues of sustainability. It is essential for company to communicate these things that allow
them to overcome of issues that protect them from resources available in organisation. These
issues can results in negative impact over organisation performance. As these issues can increase
cost of an operation of company as not using resources optimally can results in wastage of
resources. It also harm image of company in minds of their consumers.
Code of conduct can be described as common policy of business which outline moral,
principles and ethical standard and expectation of an organisation along with employees and

other parties present. It is essential for employers as well as employees of company to maintain
corporate values, integrity and ethical principles which helps them to solve issues related to
sustainability. Managers and employees of Next Plc are aiming towards attainment of goals and
objectives of company (Cheevapruk, Pasunon and Chantuk, 2018). It is essential for employees
to maintain code of conduct in their organisation which allow them to be open and honest for
employees and also provide guidance to employees. It is important for employers to give fair
treatment and respect to employees which allow them to contribute in effective manner. It is
essential for managers of Next Plc to maintain code of conduct at their organisation which allow
them to maintain professionalism at workplace. It helps them to mitigate risk in business and also
maintain compliance for marketing.
Next Plc is a multinational organisation that is providing their products and service in
different countries. It is an organisation that is adopting different types of ethical practices in
business which is important in order to overcome of ethical issues occur in business. It is
contributing to development of positive image of company in minds of their consumers and also
allow them to reduce cost of operation of company (Gunderson, 2021). It is also essential for
company as it allow employees to contribute their best which improve overall performance of
company. There are different types of strategies as well as code of conduct to be developed by
companies. For this, managers of Next Plc is adopting different principles and also debate about
moral choices.
It is also important for managers of Next Plc to adopt professionalism in their
organisation which is beneficial for them in different manner. Adoption of professionalism is
important for company as it provide them long term success and also allow them to interact with
employees along with maintaining good relationship with customers (Sidebotham, Baird, and
Gamble, 2018). It helps them to attain different goals as well as objectives of company which
allow them to establish boundaries which is to be followed by different members of company. It
is essential for an organisation to encourage employees for improving their performance and also
allow them to maintain accountability.
Code of conduct as well as professional body in a business play important role that create
positive impact. It is essential for companies to follow different types of government laws that is
important for them to reduce interference of government in company (Higgins and Darvill,
2021). It allow them to develop productive culture in company which improve their productivity.

improvement in performance of employees as well as organisation.
