INTRODUCTION
Career viewpoint can be described as a clear mental image of individuals which aid them
to determine what they have to do in coming future after passing from university (Bala, 2021).
This project report highlights an understanding of creation of CV and LinkedIn profile. It also
demonstrates an understanding of varied strengths as well as opportunities for evaluation of
individuals in an effective manner. This project report is based on CW1 which is based on
preparation of a job advertisement and varied skills or competencies that are required by
individuals for making a successful career in the field of human resources. Varied skills that are
identified in CW1 are communication, management, proactive and teaching skills which are
considered as necessary for individuals to get the job role of labour and employees relation
specialist.
MAIN BODY
Personal analysis
Personal analysis is considered as significant for individuals to gain valuable insights
which aid them in assessing their own strengths as well as weaknesses (Chin and Et. Al., 2019).
Through this they also gain information regarding varied opportunities as well as threats. In
relevance with CW1, varied skills and competencies are identified which are required by
individuals for getting a job in the field of human resources. Varied skills and expertise which
are addressed in CW1 are as follows:
Communication skills- This are considered as essential for a human resource specialist as
they have to maintain and have to keep a close check on personnel as well as labour relations in
order to avoid any conflicts in a strategic manner (Greenhaus, Callanan and Godshalk, 2018). I
posses excellent communication skills which will help me in performing better as I have to
interact with my employees on a regular in order to assess their issues they are facing at
workplace.
Management skills- As a job seeker in human resource department and wanting to
perform a job in relevance with maintaining labour relations, management skills are important.

As I have to manage and maintain labour relations efficiently, this skills are considered as
necessary for me. I am an average manager who does not have full confidence in managing
employees relations and conflicts.
Proactive skills- These skills are considered as significant for a job seeker who want to
work in the field of human resources. Human resource managers should have the capability to
assess the behaviour of their employees at early stage which lets them to read their mind. This
helps them in solving varied problems which are faced by personnel at the workplace. I poses
this skill and this will help me in taking better decisions relating to managing personnel in an
effective manner. Through this, I can assess the future threats and take timely actions in an
effective manner.
Teaching skills- This skill has a prominent place for the job seeker wanting a position in
the field of human resource. As at a job position of labour relations specialists, individuals need
to provide proper training and guidance for employees to perform their task which help them to
avoid conflicts at workplace. I am not very good at teaching skills and can not taught individuals.
I am unable to make individuals to understand about my perspectives.
Technical skills- This are considered as necessary for being successful at the job position
of labour relations specialist. It is required by human resource managers to keep updated
information of their employees through using varied softwares. I am good at dealing with
technology as I have to prepare varied university projects with the help of different softwares.
From the above mentioned personal analysis, I get to know about my existing skills and
also the areas where I need development for making my successful career as labour relation
specialist. Personal SWOT analysis in accordance with my job profile is mentioned below:
Strengths
I poses excellent communication skill
which will help me in making
employees convince to avoid conflicts
and perform in accordance with pre-
determined objectives. My proactive skill is also a strength for
me ass it helps me in taking critical
decisions in a desired time.
Weaknesses
My weakness is lacking of teaching
skills which can create problems for me
in making employees understand about
disadvantages of conflicts at workplace.
I am not so good in management skills
due to which I am unable to manage
labour conflicts.

educational qualifications, past experiences, personal information and other related data
(Vondracek, Lerner and Schulenberg, 2019). It is considered as beneficial for individuals as it
can put a great impression on recruiters and also saves their time. It also help in generating self-
confidence in individual when they go for a job interview.
LinkedIn Profile
LinkedIn is a social networking site which is essentially designed for the business related
community. People make their profile on this site in order to make connections for gaining
business related insights.

From the above mentioned information, it has been concluded that career viewpoint is
discovering a career path which can be chosen by recent graduates for getting a job. Career
action plan is prepared by individuals for assessing varied existing as well as new skills and their
gaps in a strategic manner. CV is considered as a written descriptive document which help
individuals in gaining access to perfect job opening in their near future. Through the career
action plan, varied skills can be developed and gap analysis can be measured in a relevant
manner.
