INTRODUCTION
Job opportunities are possibility or chances of employment (Sato and Watanabe, 2016).
It have potentials to turn into real job. It have been identified that banking industry have made
quick strides in restructuring aligning itself into competitive business environment. In the sector,
wide number of job opportunities are available for an individual to work. Banking sector of UK
is among prominent industries which have adapted emerging changes that benefits the clients in
wide numbers. In the industry, I identified that job opportunity of Customer Relationship
Manager is suitable and requires skills and expertise of communication skills, marketing skills,
teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal skills, adaptability, financial skills etc. The industry
provides immense job opportunities to grow and gain excel proficiency in order to achieve huge
development opportunities in future. With these skills and expertise, customer relationship
manager deals with customers as well as offers then multiple banking together with financial
advisory. The present report includes personal analysis, career action plan and CV.
MAIN BODY
Personal analysis
Skills, knowledge and experience are crucial elements that are required in specific job
position in any field (Schlee and Karns, 2017). To manage needs and maintain relationship with
customers, customer relationship manager plays important roles in the banking industry. For me
customer relationship manager is suitable job opportunity as individual at this position explores
consultations, research career, building trusted relationships, protecting the brand and enforcing
plans which meets customer needs at global level. My current skills, knowledge and experience
as customer relationship manager are as reviewed:
Communication skills: The most significant skills that is required for me to work as
customer relationship manager is communication skill (Englund and Bucero, 2019). This assist
me to listen, speak and write properly and in understandable manner so that I can hear
complaints of customers and respond accordingly through resolving their complaints with
effective suggestion or solution.
Adaptability: It includes ability to adjust with changes pertaining in business
environment. I think, being adaptable in career means a person is able to respond towards

changing ideas, expectations, strategies, responsibilities and other related workings in quick
manner.
Problem solving: The skill and expertise assist in determining source of any problem
together with finding effective solution for it. It is crucial in every career and at every level
(Cournoyer, 2016). According to me, job position of customer relationship manager requires
problem solving skill so to solve grievances, complaints and issues of customers effective and
provide them higher satisfactions. I have the skill in me as I solves problem of others nearby me
that builds strong relationship between us.
Teamwork: It is collaborative effort of team for reaching common objectives to
completing of specified task promptly and effectively. As customer relationship manager in bank
works with entire team of marketing and administration, the skill is important. It is analysed by
me that I have some team work skill within me as I have worked in a team and completed
assigned tasks on time when I was pursuing my education.
Marketing skills: In any field, marketing skill is key as it helps in promoting the brand
with unique tactics and retaining customers for longer duration. It includes dimensions related to
confidence to deliver information to mass public, devising multiple marketing strategies and
implementing them prominently. I have marketing skill in me as I have promoted various
products to audiences and gained success when I was completing my graduation.
Interpersonal skills: The skill that is used in every day life by an individual when they
communicate together with interact with another people (Friend and Malshe, 2016). I think that
interpersonal skill is foundation of success in everyone's life.
Financial skills: It is potential for using knowledge as well as understand ways to
manage unpredictable circumstance for solving financial problem together with turning it into
advantage and opportunity. Banking sector requires high level of accounting skills and I think I
have it as I have full command on financial and management accounting that will assist me to
avoid and reduce any complexity while working as customer relationship manager.
As per the review of my current skills, knowledge and expertise, I analysed that
following are my existing strength and areas that will develop my profession as customer
relationship manager in banking industry:
Financial skill: I am much excellent in managing finance which will me one of effective
skill of mine to work on the job position of Customer Relationship manager. All the principles of

accounting are on my tips and I have huge knowledge to manage and increase financial position
of company that is my key strength.
Marketing skill: I have huge ideas and unique concepts to market organisational
products to customers and influence them to make purchase decision. Addition to this, I also
have experience in devising marketing advertisements and strategies for gaining recognition in
market.
Communication skill: I know how to communicate with others and in which tone. I have
managed various situation that are tougher for other to work on. Moreover, I have proficiency in
different languages that is a strength of mine to manage customers and clients in my career.
Problem solving skill: I have solved huge problems of others in limited durations which
have improved my problem solving skill and listed it in my strengths. It assists to address risks,
fixing complex situations, improving performance and seizing opportunity (Adams and Graham,
2017).
Despite of strengths, there are some skills in which I lack behind for job position of
Customer relationship manager. Following are some of my areas that needs further development:
Team work: I lack in working with teams as different people have different ways to
complete tasks which I think I need to improve. When I was working in team, I was unable to
work as other team members due to differences in perceptions and ways of performing things. I
lack in the area and I think I also feel weak in working with teams.
Adaptability: Adaptability requires adjustments to changing situations. I feel that I lack
in adapting the business environment that constantly change and results in totally new situation. I
need to develop myself for getting adaptable to situations that constantly change so to secure
position of customer relationship manager.
Interpersonal skills: In this area, I have limited ways to work and this requires further
development to work as customer relationship manager as the job position needs high level of
interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain relationships with multiple customers
effectively in banking industry.

Career action plan refers to dynamic planning document that is owned and managed by a
person that intends to reflect towards enhancing career development learning (Alain, Rousseau,

CONCLUSION
From the information, it have been concluded that an individual have multiple job
opportunities in any field or industry. Key skills, knowledge and expertise that is required to
work for a designation are team work, communication skills, adaptability, problem solving,
marketing skills, finance skills etc. The knowledge and skills that are strength of person are

plan assist an individual in setting their objectives, clarifying actions for attaining objectives and
making commitments to participate in prearranged activities. In proper completion of project, I
feel happy and motivated to work on some other projects also.
