INTRODUCTION
This report aims to undertake decision regarding career of a recent graduated person who
ahas gained knowledge and skills in his academic year. This aims to consider by employment
area after when I leave university. My goals is to become HR manager of any company. And for
I that wants to go with the title called HR assistant in a company as my career (Ayyala and et.al,
2019). This report covers primary and secondary research as to analyse my knowledge and skills.
I am looking for retain industry where I can work effectively and enhance get better
opportunities. At last there is a evaluation of appropriate job vacancy ans what all job
opportunities will I will get in this industry.

There are various general trends that re emerged in the retail sector in human resource job
profile. This is based on primary and secondary research. These skills and capabilities which
helps a person in managing their work in efficient manner. These general trends are discussed
below:
Dependence on technology: Now a days, company is using modern and advanced
technologies to promote their products and services. Retail industry is using various
online platforms for doping online marketing. Technology has helped human resource
manager in conducting recruitment process and management of employee life cycle by
using artificial intelligence and data analytics. For example- now a days retail industry
post their job vacancy through online platforms which helps candidates and also
managers to conduct interviews online and through video calls. This technology has also
enhanced at a time of Lock down as most of the mangers are taking online interviews and
giving them work from facilities. Also human resource manager are taking online
orientation, providing training and development sessions online to new candidates
(Bennett and et.al, 2018).
Competition increasing: In retain sector, there is a lot of competitors. So for that
company needs to make certain changes in there products and services which will make
them unique and attract customers. Now a days every retail sector is using appropriate

manager should have to provide training and development sessions to the employees. As
a human resource manager, the most important task is to manage all employees ad
engage them in the business organisation. There is a process which is to be followed by
company and other staff members of a team (Bonavida, 2021).

sector as there are certain employees which are to be followed by them. In case of human
resource manager, he needs to make certain strategies and rules that re to be followed by
employees ad staff members. These can be done by using online platforms as HR should
made such type of promotional strategy that could attract customers and engagement of
employees for long run in the business organisation (Tatto and et.al, 2020).

There are certain skills that are to be expected by HR manager or assistant:
Communication Skills - Effective communication skills help HR manager to solve many
operational problems and also provide solution to their problems. HR communicate
firstly with the management then convey their set of activities to the employee . There
must be proper flow of information without any hindrance. Otherwise output of the result
will not execute properly. Wrong message will leads to wrong direction towards
company objective. HR provides information in appropriate manner from the directors to
the employee of the company. HR maintain balance between employee and team of
management. Communication skills of HR must be strong so that company function will
operate in efficient manner (Keele and et.al, 2020).
Reporting skills- HR need to be expertise in reporting of HR project file. So they need
to create analysis, interpreting different projects. In the digital era, HR also should know
all the methods of data collection or data mining from online HRM system. It will help in
providing solution or any recommendations to the management team. These
recommendation will aids in strategy making of the company. It enhance performance of
the company. Through this HR can hire talented employee and also retain the best
employees of the company.

and compensation. In retailing sector it is more important for HR manger to perform effectively
there all functions as for retailing industry, new innovation and techniques are more preferred by
the organisation. So there is a need of new employees to compete with competitors in the market.
