INTRODUCTION
The main aim of current career research project is to get better understanding about the
contextualise employability that seemed to be related which adaptability and development of
graduate in order to ensure continuous improvement in the skills and understanding (Baluku and
et. al., 2018). For current career research project, the selected profession and employability area
is HR profession. The reason behind selecting HR profession by me s based on the fact that I am
having a personal interest in this profession and also a rising importance and job opportunity are
seen in HR profession.
Aim for career research project
The current research project has been undertaken by me, “To determine about latest as well
as the most general trend which are currently seen in the HR profession along with analysing key
skills, knowledge and the experience which are needed in HR profession to have better impact on
my overall graduate employability”.

To investigate the latest as well as the most general trends which are present in the HR
profession which would have positive impact on the overall graduate employability.
To determine some the key skills, knowledge and the experience which are needed within
a graduate candidate for having better job opportunity in HR profession

which are applied for collecting data and information for current research project are provided

To ensure better understanding about the vital aspects of HR profession, data has been
collected from primary and secondary sources. Selection of primary data is vital an important as
it ensures first hand and most authentic from of data while secondary information is also vital to
set a base and better understanding about selected profession with the help of past findings and
research (Guerci and et. al., 2019). Apart from this, application of interpretivism philosophy is
made as current project as it ensures a more detailed and better insight in human opinion and
view point. Further, application of inductive form of research approach is made to ensure better
testing and scanning of collecting fact which is properly in line with interpretivism philosophy.
Along with thus, use of qualitative research method is made to ensure collection of in-depth and
theoretical information with the help of interview.
It comprises of analysis and review of existing literature present in form of past records and
documents for gaining better knowledge about selected objectives and topic. An analysis of
secondary data collected from online article and journals along with on the basis of interview
conducted from selected participants is provided as below. The interview questions which are
asked form selected 4 participants who are working as a HR manager are provided in the end of
current assignment under the heading of appendix.

profession comprises of adopting and applying more Holistic approach of HR which is based on
using advanced technologies which needs to be more human centric along with being action
oriented and reflective. The current global pandemic of COVID-19 has also leads a significant
impact on the recent trend which are existing in HR profession which lead a shift in HR
profession from traditional work to a more flexible and worker centric approach through
increasingly accepting the working from home along with boom of the gig economy (Top 10 HR
Trends for 2021 and Beyond, 2021). Thus, virtual working along with increasingly remote and
digital work environment are the latest trend seen in HR profession. The another current and
latest trend which is seen in HR profession comprises of technology and demographic
development which has led to use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) for recruiting and other process
of HR which leads to improved online application along with powered recruiter Chabot’s.
Further, during the situation of COVID-19 increased use of online communication tools are also
seen which consists of video interview, phone calls and e-mails to allow organisation to double

through improved employee engagement and strategic focus are also seen in HR profession.

form of automation are also seen in HR profession.

basis thus good communication skill enables to convey and escalate job roles and standards more
clearly. Further, organisational skill is also vital for a graduate to have improved HR profession
as it ensures better time management to meet deadlines and complying with regulations along
with improved record maintenance and organisation of employees (The 12 HR Skills Every HR
Generalist Needs (with Infographic), 2021). Beside this, confidentiality skill and trustworthiness
are also vital along with administrative skills and proactivity for spotting potential problems and
preventing them through improved escalation.

HRIS Knowledge (Human Resource information system) is required which is basically a system

Manager, 2021). This job vacancy is suitable for me Signature senior lifestyle Ltd is a large
organisation with near around 2500 employees which provide better opportunity for me to
manage a large workforce along with ensuring effective communication and improved team
work. Further, this job would also be providing me a competitive salary along with company
bonus and flexible working environment which is more preferable and suitable for me. Further,
the job location is also located in London which is feasible for me and it also ensures improved
experience level and better career development through supportive environment along with
trailered training and practical experience.

On the basis of above assignment, a conclusion can be made that many recent trends are
